With the new year here, and people celebrating one way or another this didn't mean work was over. There was training that still needed to be done, and who knows maybe new relations. Back on a familiar route the Ranger brought out one of his pokemon who could definitely use the discipline still. With Fern out of his pokeball it was time to get to work.

As they walked to search on what they could find, they do seem to encounter a battle ready Vigoroth. One of which Razz does attempt to get the attention of Fern to try fighting. At first it does seem to work, until the little monkey starts dancing, and drumming his sticks. One the Vigoroth did not like as it felt like they were being mocked. [break][break]

Turns out it worked in their favor as it allowed for Fern to get the upper hand easily enough. Maybe this was just their style?

With one pokemon down for the count Fern just gave his trainer a smile. Cause he took care of that thing with ease, though as they continued on the grass monkey did seem confused about what was happening next. There was some odd looking pokemon that was just standing there, looking up into the sky. Fern attempts to poke it but is quickly stopped by Razz. [break][break]

"If it doesn't have a will to fight I rather not bother," he tells them before they move on.

With the passing of another pokemon Fern once again decides to get his grove on as they walk along the route. Beating his Sticks on the ground as they moved to create his little tunes when a wild Ambipom comes into play. At first Razz thinks it's to battle but as it uses it's two tails to drum on the ground it seems a different type of challenge is in place. [break][break]

There is a fire in Fern that he didn't think he'd ever see as the two start playing their music. Salem seemed to get deep into it as he decides it upon himself to referee as the two monkey pokemon go at it. Ambipom starts a beat, before Fern follows with a different one that matches. It goes back and forth for a bit before both pokemon started playing at the same time, yet they were still playing off each other?[break][break]

Razz didn't know music well, he just thought it sounded nice. [break][break]

Their music battle rages on for quite sometime, to the point Razz was just sitting on the side lines with a few other pokemon passing by and enjoying the music. Both monkeys looked tired but it seemed it was the challenger who faltered first as it's beat seems off. After noting it, both monkeys fall back in exhaustion. Well that was entertaining, and it would seem wrong to leave the new rival Fern made. So Razz gets up and looms over the other monkey with a pokeball in hand. [break][break]

"Wanna continue making music?"
