His office in the admin's sector of Rocket HQ was rather modest and plain compared to his office at the Galarian Embassy. Hues of grey, black, and beige dominated the workspace with file cabinets, a sofa, a small coffee table, and two chairs. Declan Walsh had, at least, put a bit of good money into the mahogany desk, accompanying chair, and the view from the window: a vista of the HQ's community area down below. And, Remiel supposed, the large flat screen occupying the wall behind him was nice as well.[break][break]

Today would not be spent comparing the grandeur of his embassy office to the mediocre furnishings of his office here, however. Today he had an appointment with none other than bryan delarosa , whose dossier sat open at the admin's desk for him to see. The man, after all, had worked with him during the Gardevoir poaching job he'd taken up. Rather impressed, Remiel had beckoned him for an appointment here, today, at 3PM.[break][break]

Though clearly capable on some level, the ambassador wished to know what the young man's ambitions were beneath the surface of his dedication to the organization. There were, after all, special assignments to be had. And these special assignments required special characters.[break][break]

Before long, the doors to his office were opened by means of ghostly telekinesis, and his pink Sinistea proudly escorted the appointed guest inside. "Ah, Delarosa. Welcome. Please take a seat." The royal spoke, gesturing to one of the chairs in front of his desk.[break]

Bryan was invited to Remiel's office? Oh great, it felt like going to the principal's office during high school like when he beat the shit out of some poor saps. Was this meeting going to be a drag? Only time could tell as Bryan walked in and his gaze met with the man known as fox. He was immediately offered a seat that he took "So, what's up. What did you want to talk about?" he asked curiously as he couldnt really recalled the reason for this meeting, unsure if remiel even told him about it. "Am in trouble for socking that guy in the face for copying me?" he said trying to figure out what it could have been.

Remiel recalled the event. He'd been on his way to grab a drink when it had occurred. When he'd turned over his shoulder to regard it, he'd found John Doe's mimicry far too accurate to tell the difference anymore. There'd been a great hubbub surrounding the commotion as well. But this wasn't about that.[break][break]

"Not at all," He replied, folding his hands into a tent over his desk. "I've invited you here to discuss your future with Team Rocket. As you know, most of the organization's ranks know me as Remiel Calcifet: the executive. Revealing my identity as admin to you prior to our assignment with the Gardevoir was a show of trust on my behalf. You've upheld that trust since then, and I've acquired the chance to evaluate your talent on the field... you show promise."[break]

Oh thank god he wasn't here to chew him out for that, he didn't really want to have to deal with that anymore. However he would take whatever chance he could get to beat the guy's ass again as retribution. But what was the point of this meeting, what was so important that Remiel simply couldn't send Bryan a message? He leaned back into his chair a bit to show he was slightly at ease but his gaze didn't leave remiel's since he was still alert. "I appreciate the kind words. I simply do as asked since and don't blabber" [break][break]

However it was much simpler than that, Bryan simply didn't have friends to blabber to, at least people he COULD talk to about rocket since they moved in shadows. Talking was a bother anyways, he didn't like the social dances that came with them. "But, what exactly are you aiming for then with me?" he asked curiously since he wouldn't have just called him in here to praise him and then send him on his way, that's not how rocket worked.

"Well..." Remiel began, pausing to grab a file folder sitting at the edge of his desk. Opening it, he turned it around to face Bryan, then set it upon the center of the desk for him to see. The first page in the assorted pile contained just one word in bold: SPECTRA.[break][break]

"These are strange times we live in, Delarosa. So much of it remains sybilline in nature. But we must come prepared for what lies ahead — it is for this reason that I am assembling a subdivision of Rocket: the Special Executive for Counterintelligence, Training, and Removal of Avatars."[break][break]

Should Bryan sift through some of the other pages in the file folder, he would find dossiers on several confirmed avatars: FERNANDO SILPH , Selena Desmarais , Bailey Cooper , Balder Schwartz , and Stormy Silph , along with other interesting articles regarding locations, items, or rumours of note.[break][break]

"This special executive is currently in its infancy. For now, I've been searching for capable members of Team Rocket to come under my employ and help me begin. You are one of the first." He admits, folding his hands over his desk.[break]

Oh? Well this was rather nice surprise, someone finally realized Bryan's potential. "Removal being a fancy word for killing?" he said not even batting an eyelash, he knew exactly what kind of people rocket were. He picked up the folder of information, Maybe this dossier had answers for that strange Pokémon that found itself now on Bryan's side.[break][break]

However, he wouldn't even really know what the hell to even search for in this dossier for information on this dog thing. He took a few minutes to scan it before placing it back on the table and standing up slowly. he said speaking with a deadpan expression painted across his face. "If that's the case I will join, however I expect to be compensated for joining this group. Of course my price is not steep since I'm thankful for rocket taking care of me all these years. I'm flexible on payment, my favorite kind being information or money." [break][break]

He lobbed the pokeball upward as the light emitted from the ball materialized a strange pokemon. It was a type Null that unbeknownst to Bryan had a different coloring than other ones. " My first request is information. Do you know what this thing is?" he said turning over to remiel as he spoke and the dog pokemon came over to his side and nuzzled up to Bryan and he placed a hand on it's head...helmet..thing.

Remiel looks down at the files between them, pausing to muse for a moment before responding. "... Only if need be." At least one of the individuals listed there had been given the green light for removal. At least one of them was a personal friend. The others played their own part in the grander scheme of things, and likely required approval from Declan himself before any attempt on their life could be made. "Regardless, we must be ready to do so at the drop of a dime."[break][break]

As the young man sifts through the papers in front of him, Remiel leans back into his seat and waits patiently for him to finish. The deadpan expression he receives afterwards is met right back with the admin's trademark indifference. "Money will be no issue. Naturally, you'll be granted a pay raise, in addition to special access to certain files, resources, and equipment. If you need anything more than that: you come to me. As your employer, I'll see what I can do."[break][break]

Of course, Remiel hadn't expected the man to summon a strange beast in his office moments afterward. Calmly, he pushes himself back from his desk and stands up, rounding the corner slowly to position himself in a place where he can inspect the creature more closely, crouching just a foot or two away from it to reach eye-level. Adjusting his glasses so they sat balanced on the bridge of his nose, he hums in thought. "Hmm... where did you find this one?" He inquires, examining its helmet.[break]

AN UNKNOWN CREATURE scuttles through the submarine too fast for anyone to catch sight of it. Only the constant echo of vibrating pipes leave any clue that it even existed in the first place. [break][break]

Hmmm what exactly did removal mean...did they find a way to rip the power out? Would it even stay out? He pondered a bunch of questions but...the only way bryan would actually find them out is if he joined. [break][break]

"Very well. Then you have a new dagger to use then Mr. Fox. I'll be counting on you." he said as his trademark grin spread across his face. The conversation shifted over however to the strange dog Pokémon. As remiel began to approach it, it growled at him at first until Bryan bonked it on the head and spoke to it "Behave." he commanded as the dog cowered a bit and switch over to Bryan's other side. It was putting itself between bryan and the stranger, moving his head to the underside of bryan's hand so that he'd be petted for obeying the command. [break][break]

"No idea, weird ass dreams and then it was suddenly on my bed sleeping with me when I woke up. It's pokeball was one of my own and in my hand." he said as he told Remiel the truth. "Do you know what it is? My pokedex wont give me information on it besides what moves it knows." he explained further before Type:null looked over to the vent and began to growl as it heard things moving in the shaft. Bryan looked over and tilted his head at the vent...what the hell was that noise? He then looked over to remiel just as puzzled.

Most of the grunts knew him as Executive Calcifet. Or, when he had the mask on, Admin Fox. But this strange blend between his two worlds made him slightly uncomfortable. "Don't call me that." He plainly, and indifferently, says.[break][break]

Moving onto more pressing matters, the black-haired royal didn't flinch or cower when the Type: Null had growled at him. He had moments to analyze the carvings on its helmet afterward, before Bryan regaled him with his unusual story. A part of him wondered whether the lad had any history of amnesia. Or, perhaps, his drinking habits were worse than Remiel had imagined.[break][break]

Just as the admin stood up and straightened in posture to answer, however, there was a strange sound in the walls that immediately captured their collective attention. The cobalt-eyed royal narrows his eyes in the perceived direction of its source, eventually settling upon a vent shaft nearby. Having heard something similar during a training session with Chu-e Choi, he refused to believe it was simply just machinery.[break][break]

"Hmm... did you hear that?"[break]

"Ok then what would you like to be called?" he asked curiously wondering if Remiel had any kind of preference. However the conversation took a turn to a noise inside of the submarine, seems like Remiel also found it strange. Type:Null growled at the noise and walked over to the vent sniffing it slightly before bryan let out a whistle and called him back over to his side and petted him on the head for obeying. "Yes. I did in fact hear that, what was that? Didn't sound like that was normal" he asked curiously. Was that typical on the submarine? Bryan guessed not since Remiel even brought it up himself.

Remiel mused for a moment, then spoke. "It's happened before, in the training arena. I'd hesitate to call it normal myself." He adds. "Whatever it was, it fired a beam at the pokémon Chu-e Choi and I battled. It's dangerous..."[break][break]

Earl Grey had floated up to the vent to investigate himself. When the possessed teacup returned with nothing, however, the admin blinked and awoke from his stupor. He'd put off his investigation into the matter for too long now. They really needed to get to it. "But anyway... keep the dossier I've given you. I'll be arranging a meeting with the underbosses and our new head scientist soon regarding the subject matter."[break][break]

He turns down to look at the creature before him again. "As for this one..." His eyes narrow upon it, much as they do whenever he examines his Dracovish or Dracozolt. He remembers the report he'd read on this particular abomination. Though he supposes its design outshines that of any of the aforementioned Galarian monstrosities.[break][break]

"It's typically referred to as 'Type: Null'. There is no official name for it." Except, one supposed, 'Beast Killer'. But that wasn't quite a 'name' either.[break]

"Type:null..." he said looking at the creature as it's gaze met his own, seemingly understanding that it's his name. Huh, his first lead on what the hell this thing is.
