Yui had been sitting at home, snooping around on the internet just listening in on whatever random thing came up on her stream. She had an extra window set up on her pc set up to listen to whatever kind of signal she can pick up and also on various phones she tapped. She never really ever used that window since it was...kind of illegal. BUT IT WAS ONLY ON PEOPLE SHE KNEW! if it made it any better really (hint: she knew it didnt) But! she was thankful she did it, she picked up a message that was meant for stormy. Ooooo a phone call! Yui decided to listen in to see if it was anything important. Apparently they were calling upon miss Elite 4 to help bust an illegal lab that was conducting some atrocious experiments on pokemon. [break][break]

Yui sat in her chair, her knees against her chest as she sat in her big chair and listen to the conversation. She agreed to go despite the danger presented to her. Yui sat there flabbergasted, she began to worry if stormy was in over her head. She couldn't sit by and do nothing so she grabbed her belt with all of her pokeballs on them and rushed over to where they were gonna meet and secretly followed behind stormy to the outskirts. However whether she got caught or not was depending on how cautious Stormy was being of her surroundings.

The contents of the phone call were private, confidential, and incredibly time-sensitive.[break][break]

But fortunately, Stormy didn't come without backup, and no, she didn't mean the springy blonde teenage sister of hers that had snuck after her. Stormy had enough pull and enough resources and trust within the ranger system to ask them for their discreet assistance in this takedown. She would be the bait, the big fish taunting the even bigger fish.[break][break]

And when shit hit the fan, if it did, her back-up were waiting with bated breath to bail her out. They had eyes everywhere and Pokemon stationed to take care of anything.. too dangerous.[break][break]

As it turns out, that 'too dangerous' is Miss Yui Silph, breaking and entering a building that Stormy was already breaking into. It is actually Stormy's own Galvantula that wraps her up in webs, one of them covering her mouth (if allowed) to prevent the girl from screaming and ruining the whole operation. The thud of a body hitting the floor brings Stormy to a dead stop and she turns sharply to see her sister.[break][break]

It was a good idea for galvantula to wrap Yui's mouth up in webs to prevent the girl from shouting at galvantula. She would have shouted at the bug creature to let her go. After the silk wrappings around her mouth were undone she'd be able to answer her adopted sister "What are YOU doing here!?" she said as she tried to deflect the answer "Also dont curse!" as she reminded the sister about her distain for cursing "Besides what does it look like! I'm here to help you!" she said speaking in hushed whispers that easily conveyed her urgency to speak to her sister. [break][break]

However she knew that she wouldn't be able to hide any of this from her sister, it was too late. "I..I tapped your phone and came cause I got worried.." as she avoided her sister's gaze and silently whistled. She expected to get yelled at immediately, Yui was notorious for not going on league missions or even leaving her apartment but she had begun to move around and do field work for unknown reasons.

When Stormy first turns around, her heart leaps into her throat at the prospect of being caught red-handed infiltrating a high security, illegal scientists lab. But what she finds is her Galvantula, teeth chattering, pinning her kid sister to the ground. Webs are strung up, gluing the woman to the ground and a fat wad seals her lips closed, muffling her scream of surprise - or outrage. Both, probably.[break][break]

The woman wastes no time in darting to Yui's side in order to unwrap her. Fingertips are hot enough to help peel away the silky string, peeling it away. It withers beneath her touch and the Galvantula retreats slightly, dipping its head in apology. Stormy's hurried gesture waves the Pokemon away to the ceiling where it melts into the dark corners.[break][break]

Outrage, confusion, and frustration all glint in the woman's dark red eyes as she stares down at her babbling baby sister.[break][break]

"I'm on a job, Yui, what do you think I'm doing? You have no business being here, you're going to get yourself killed, and me if you're not careful!"[break][break]

She frowns.[break][break]

"How did you even find me? Did I leave my 'find my phone' on? Damnit."[break][break]

But Yui eventually spills the beans and the look on Stormy's face is pure surprise and confusion. It was clear that the woman had absolutely no idea what that even meant. [break][break]

"Whatever, you're here now and I'm stuck with you. Just.. stay close to me and don't make a sound."[break][break]

Yui frowned at Stormy's worry for the blonde being here "You ARE my business! We're family!" she said in hushed whispers. She's treating her as if she was dead weight, how insulting! Yui is a Silph too! She already earned her first badge (barely) she should be able to handle these kinds of missions now. This was was her chance to prove herself as a Silph, she WILL be treated with respect! She nodded her head, "fine. But you better let me help!" she demanded. It was too late for anyone to stop her now anyways as she silently followed stormy as the made their way deeper into the complex. [break][break]

Yui stayed behind stormy, cautiously watching the girl waiting for her orders from her sister as she hoped maybe a battle would break out or maybe she had some coding she'd be able to do! Like in those spy movies! Ohhhhh the excitement, the information she could probably learn here! How exciting!! But Yui was slowly going to realize that reality is much bleaker and more dangerous than the movies make it out to be. However stormy's word choice began to bounce around in Yui's head...'stuck with her.'...did she mean it the way it came off..?

"You" she says, whipping her head around, eyes like molten daggers, "will shut up and not complain. If I hear one more peep, Galvantula wil stick you to the ceiling and I may not even come back to get you."[break][break]

It's harsh, but given the scare the girl had given her and the fact they were about to bust criminals in the middle of a super dangerous operation... she felt it was warranted. Her sister had received one badge, and up until then, had only been seen in the confines of her room, or at Silph Co. [break][break]

Honestly, she barely knew what the girl did, only that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time now.[break][break]

"Just.. don't do anything stupid."[break][break]

Her radio vibrates against her hip, and she raises it to her lips to mutter orders into it. League officials are enclosing, and she presses against the wall near a door. The window inside showed exactly what she needed: proof of mischief.[break][break]

The woman pulls out a phone to record, and her face is pinched in an expression of pain. Inside, she can see what looks to be a bloodbath. There are contraptions and IV's attached to a Pokemon strapped to a desk. Computers with unreadable information are strewn across the back of the room, with people hunched over the screens and murmuring. The Pokemon is barely conscious, but she can see it moving.[break][break]

A REMNANT FROM THE THREE DAY WAR lurks in the abandoned laboratory. Inside, you find several corpses. Rotting flesh shows just how long they've lingered, shadowed by what the light doesn't dare expose. As you enter, you notice that every body you come across belongs to a Pokemon, pieces of flesh decayed with noticeable chunks missing from white, exposed bone. [break][break]

A single human remains slumped over a melted open cage. His torso has been melted through, purple organs soured by potent poison. Only upon approach does his intestine pop, filled to the brim with an noxious gas that's inflated with his decomposition. Up above, you notice the source, an untamed Naganadel that's undoubtedly never been treated with Lucas Lane's antidote. [break][break]

It's quiet.[break][break]

Stormy's hand reaches for the doorknob and she turns it quietly, acutely aware of the painful squeak that it releases. But she pushes it open, eyes surveying the room, lingering on each individual decimated body. Blood streaks the tile, the walls, the desks, the entire room. It reeks of death and of poison, and it makes her stomach churn.[break][break]

But her attention moves to the single human figure in the entire room. It's torso is caved in, oozing with purple liquid and purple-dyed organs. It honestly makes her dry-heave, and in that movement she sees it: the Naganadel responsible.[break][break]

Someone had been fool enough to take one captive, but they hadn't the sense or the technology to apply an antidote to it. The body shifts, exploding and exuding a poisonous gas. She immediately throws her arm to her nose, taking a step back.[break][break]

"Oh, fuck."[break][break]

From above, movement catches her eye. The Naganadel lies quiet, watchful and attentive. But the moment her eyes meet his, it lunges, slamming to the ground and embedding its stinger in the tile. It smashes on impact and Stormy scrambles backward, out of breath and surprised into silence.[break][break]

Yui was stunned in fear from the nagandel in front of her. This was the first time she had ever even see an ultrabeast, and boy was she glad she hadn't encountered more of them. This thing was horrid..it was no different from a rampaging monsters...It plunged it's stinger into the floor, aiming for stormy. She let out a shrieked scream "STORMY!". After she saw that stormy was still in a state of shock, she ran away trying to put some distance between her and the creature. [break][break]

"HEY STINKY FOLLOW ME!" she said as she tried to bait it away from her sister, she held a pokeball in her hand ready to go to fight the creature. However Yui didn't have much of a plan, her hand was trembling and tears were falling down her face from the fear. But she'd be damned if she just sat there and let this creature harm stormy. She didn't know anything about this thing, but those eyes of it were most likely a weak spot, and in the dimly lit lab well...lets just say this move was a pretty good substitute for flash "STORMY CLOSE YOUR EYES." [break][break]

The monster charged towards yui much like it charged at stormy"SUNNY DAY!" she called out as cherrim released a ball of light in front of nagandel's face. It didn't deal damage but it sure as hell blinded the creature as she picked up cherrim afterwards and ran, covering their nose from the horrendous smell in the room. "Stormy! Your pokemon!" she said as yui managed to blind the creature and set up some fire power for stormy's fire types.

It is Yui's shriek that really puts her into gear. Though she hadn't been stunned into silence, she had just been gathering her thoughts slowly, trying to make sense of the situation. Analyzing, rapidly, was not her strong suit. She had been given the beauty with only a touch of brains.[break][break]

Thankfully, when Yui commands her to close her eyes, Stormy glances away. The flash of the sunny day stuns the Naganadel momentarily, prompting Stormy to reach for her belt and retrieve one of her Charizards. With two large Pokemon taking over the room, there was little wiggle room. [break][break]

"Get out, Yui!"[break][break]

Wadjet grapples with the Naganadel then with a great bellow, cleaving her claws through the purple skin. It burns on impact, leaving bubbling skin and blood sprayed against the ground - this time it's the ultra beasts.[break][break]

"Wadjet, be careful. Watch out for its poison!"[break][break]

She can feel the buffet of wind from Wadjet's wings, but the impact of her strokes knocks the Naganadel back and against the wall. Flamethrowers melt the Pokemon's wings and leave it crumpled in a heap on the ground. It continues to try and fight, but Wadjet looms over it, breathing heavily.[break][break]
