A low whistle left Chu-e when he was shown the bite mark, a wince of sympathy on his face. "That shit's only fun when it's consensual. Damn." But, he shakes his head at the water question, watching with a little grin as the Shuckle thought it could fuckle with skyler dross. "Nah... maybe they're all pissed we're around the water? Isn't is like, big deals for water to be out in places like this or something?" He scratched his cheek as he thought it over. Maybe they were the problem here...

Before Chu-e could elaborate, the Gabite that Chu-e had honestly forgotten about ran up, out of breath, something in his claws. The dragon time was panting and wide eyed, quickly shoving a Gible in his face. The Gible made to bite him, which Chu-e flinched out of the way of just in time. Gabite shook the Gible pointedly at his trainer, eyes narrowed on him.

"Did you steal a baby?!" He squeaked out, unsure what to think of this series of events. He let out a small sigh to calm himself and an 'oh my god' under his breath as he took out a pokeball. It's not like they could just return it now. Careful not to get his hand chomped off, he tapped the pokeball on the Gible.

CATCHING GIBLE

"Someone should've taught Megalopolans the importance of consent." A wry grin twisted her lips as the words left her mouth, mind flashing to the days right before the war and a specific operation she'd handled with Kazimir Wynter where she'd gotten this scar. Speaking of, she hadn't seen her muscle buddy in some time...

"Would've saved me a lot of trouble."

Unlike Ji-Hoon Ki, the ship captain didn't even consider the possibility that she might be problem. She held herself with an insolent, proud set of her shoulders that didn't lend itself to thoughtful wanderings. It almost bordered on arrogance if not for the mischievous curl of her lips when she peered down at Chu-e and the Gible. "I think we might've overstayed our welcome here. Not that being attacked by a Shuckle wasn't fun, see, but the lack of treasure is a bit of a letdown." 

A sharp whistle brought Flygon to her side, and Skyler was quickly to swing herself onto the dragon's back. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw something hanging from the Flygon's mouth, patting his neck to have him spit it out - and revealing an unconscious Flapple. The ship captain couldn't really blame her Flygon, the smaller dragon did look kind of delicious...

A swift flick of her wrist captured the Flapple, just before she turned to her human companion. "You have a way to get out of here, right? Don't want to leave you stranded. I'm heading to Lilycove," a hand patted the space behind her, mischief shining from her eyes, "though I might make a detour. Feel free to come with - I still have some whiskey." 

Whatever Chu-e decided to do, Skyler soon departed from the oasis, thankfully leaving behind the scorching hot desert sands.
