The sun was high in the sky, reflecting against the thick, white snow. The air was cold and crisp, frost bitting Cogimo's cheeks, as well as, fingertips. He knew that he should have worn gloves. Maybe a hat as the boy's ears felt particularly cold, but the boy did wake up with morelull hovering over him in their hotel room. Waiting. Wanting to go out for a walk. He for sure wasn't about to say no.[break]
As they were staying in Mauville at the moment he decided to take Route 110. Everything was in deep snow, the actual route barely there. It was early, so Cogimo didn't expect to see many people. And good thing as he didn't trust Dementi. What he didn't expect was to see a snorlax in the middle of the road, recently awoken, and a girl that seemed quite proud for some reason.[break]"Ummm...Hello? Do you need any help?"

Yui had cleaned her hands of the situation, the sleeping snorlax finally managed to wake up and move out of the way of the dirt road leaving out of the city. She looked over and saw a guy around the same age as her walking up to her, asking if she needs help. She looked over "Nope! Just finished waking up this snorlax who was blocking the road finally. It took a lot of chesto berries and food but it finally worked." she said as she looked on smugly at the Snorlax who was still half asleep but at least finally getting up to go reach the berry stew she made.

Her ditto was besides her looking at the stew hungrily but she bopped it's gelatnous body as he couldn't eat the stew or snorlax would just fall right over again and go to bed. "You headed this way?" she asked the boy curiously.

Snorlax in the middle of a road was, probably, one of the oldest problems known for mankind. Cogimo now wondered just how many of these huge creatures had to be moved in a year so they wouldn't block traffic. He also wondered if he should find a cafe for some breakfast as the curry smelled quite nice.[break]"Quite early for social work, no? Can't say I can blame the big guy from sleeping here as I would do the same if I could." Unfortunately, a certain mushroom pokemon had different plans for his morning.[break]
"Kind of? I didn't have a solid plan, to be honest. Just went for a walk while in the town. You know, morning air and all that." While talking to the girl he couldn't shake off the feeling that he had seen her somewhere before. Honestly, he usually doesn't pay much attention to girls, but this one felt familiar somehow. Or, at least, seen before.[break]"Are you, maybe, from Slateport university? Cause...I think I have seen you somewhere and it's there or Rustboro City."[break]
While talking, though, Dementi decided she wanted to have a closer look at the snorlax behind everyone. The pokemon was still drowsy, sniffing the air to locate where the food was. It got distracted, though, by the tiny morelull walking up to it. She stared at the big creature with strong intensity, getting closer and closer. The snorlax didn't even manage to comprehend how before the tiny being was already on his shoulder. The next thing that everyone heard was a loud slam as the fat pokemon passed out on the ground, pink spores floating around it and Dementi looking innocently at the trainers on top of the creature just awoken.

He was right, it was rather early in the morning. It's exactly why she was rushing to get him out of the way, if he kept blocking this road it would present a problem to those who needed to get in and out of the city. "Yeah, the workers who take this road were complaining about it getting in the way. I think he honestly does this now cause he gets food out of it everytime...we're gonna have to think of a more permanent solution...maybe constantly feeding him food elsewhere or something.." she said wonder aloud how this problem could be resolved. "Ah I see, a morning walk is good." but then he asked her a rather curious question "Oh? Yes I did, why? I graduated with my masters this year. Software engineering and computer science." she said noting her accomplishments despite her age. "My next goal is my doctorates but im gonna hold off for a bit." she said [break][break]

However just as she was taking a breath of relief that her job was over she looked over to the snorlax..the pokemon went right back to bed! Yui was stunned, this usually worked before...so why was it that it failed now? She looked over to see a small little morelul with a bunch of powder spreading around it "Did...did your morelul just sleep powder the snorlax?" she said somewhat defeated that all her efforts just went to waste.

"Oh..." Cogimo exclaimed, things getting clearer. "That would explain why you seemed familiar. I started Slateport university last year and may have seen you or something. Plus, last year I did my generic courses and computer study was one of them." He shuddered in memory of that, "Never again."[break]He needed to admit it, though, that she did look young for someone with a master's. Maybe she was just one of those women that were 100 years old but looked in their twenties. Which...Good for her, Cogimo guessed. If, though, she was around his age...Well, he won't try to think what that meant about him and his degree.[break]"That's impressive! What are you..."[break]
But he never managed to make his question, as the Snorlax passed out with a loud boom. What was even worse, seeing Demini on top of the sleeping giant, all proud-looking. Cogimo was opening and closing his mouth as a Magicarp on dry land. Without words, the boy pulled out his pokeball, calling the Morelull back in.[break]"Would you believe if I said that I had a nightmare that started like this? Only there was a rain of Slugmas in the background." The boy then walked closer to the sleeping Snorlax.[break]"Maybe we can wake him up again with the curry?" Cogimo really hoped the girl will allow him to help now that Demini had gotten the boy in this situation.

Yui looked on in disbelief, his morelul did in fact sleep powder it..She scratched the back of her head, hiding her gremlin personality from absolutely losing her mind it took forever for her to get this damn thing awake and now she's right back where she started. She however did show a sign of frustration, not only with the trainer but with this dang snorlax who continued to show up time after time and cause problems! Seriously! Did it only show up to ever sleep in the middle of the road?! Well Yui decided she had enough, she grabbed a pokeball on her belt and threw it into the air to release her milktank. "Well at least I can fix it easily since it was caused by sleep powder, I hope your in for a rude awakening!" She said as she faced her palm out towards the snorlax "Milky! Use heal bell on snorlax! Wake him up!" she commanded as her milktank obliged by shaking it's glowing tail in a certain rhythm as it began to glow with energy. The Heal bell did work, but yui soon regretted her actions. Snorlax woke up, but it was VERY pissed off. [break][break]

Yui knew what was going to happen next, they had to RUN. Yui bolted and grabbed the boy's hand "We gotta go!" she exclaimed as she began to run with milktank by her side.

Seemed like no big damage was done as the girl possessed a milktank.[break]"Right! They could heal. Cool!" And he did mean it, even if they look a bit odd for Cogimo. Not a lot, he has seen weirder pokemon at the farm, but, for sure, wouldn't have one on his own team. Maybe. But that really didn't matter at that moment, as the Snorlax soon awakened and...They weren't in a good mood. Before the boy really knew it both were running away from an angry ball of fat.[break]"Well, at least we got them off the road." Cogimo yelled while still running between the trees, the girl having a vice-like grip on him. One of his pokeball suddenly burst open, Whimsy appearing in front of both as it made happy chirping noises.[break]"Sorry, buddy! Can't play now. Busy with running for our lives." He yelled to the Cottonee as they went past him. The cotton puff pokemon didn't seem to mind, facing the big brute that was chasing them and just...Smiling.[break]
In meanwhile, both kept running until Cogimo picked up that the ground wasn't shaking from something heavy stomping on it. He stopped, but the blond was still attached to his arm, and that made both fall on their buts as their balance had been disturbed.[break]"Ouch! Sorry about that!" The brunette apologized, slowly getting up and offering his hand to assist the girl. "Listen, though...Quiet. That thing stopped following us." And Shimaru wanted to exhale in relief but the image of Whimsy went through his mind. Right, he had left his pokeball...And the Snorlax had been still following them for sure.[break]"Fuck! Where's my Cottonee!?"

"YEAH BUT NOW IF WE STOP RUNNING WE DIE." she shouted back at him. It was certainly a lovely way to frame the situation from cogimo's point of view, but yui knew that Snorlax's could be destructive once awoken. It was only cogimo bringing Yui back to her senses that made her realize the ground wasnt tremoring anymore...he was right, snorlax was gone? She turned around and tilted her head looking around for a cottonee "I didn't even notice you brought one with you." she said...before putting two and two together "Maybe...lets go back." she told him as she begun to make her way back over to the path snorlax was chasing them through while calling out to cogimo's pokemon. "Cottoneeeee? You're trainer's over here!!" she said waving her hand in the air hoping the pokemon would hear her pleas.

The girl seemed like a completely different person when in a stressful situation. She definitely had a great set of pipes, and, for sure, knew how to use them when screaming for her life. It would be almost amusing if they wouldn't have been chased by a snorlax.

Now, though, he was just nervous. Yes, it seemed that the huge pokemon had stopped chasing them but if that thing was hungry...And Whimsy was in its way...Cogimo really didn't want to think of that option. In that place he opened yet another pokeball, releasing his Aegislash from it. As the pokemon saw the distress in his trainer's eyes he instantly went into shield stance to be between the boy and the blond girl.[break]"Markiz, it's fine! She's...Decent." The pokemon slowly turned to face his trainer, "Be a sweetheart and check if you can find Whimsy, please!" Without any noise the huge sword melted in its own shadow, leaving both alone again.[break]
That didn't last long, though, as suddenly Cogimo saw the snorlax, and then, Whimsy. The cottonee was being hugged and nuzzled by the oversized creature, both purring from happiness. The humans were completely ignored as if the chase scene never happened.[break]"Don't tell me...You charmed him, didn't you?" Cause, yes, it was a male snorlax, and yes, this wasn't the first time the tiny ball of fluff had used this move to make pokemons, and people, to like him.[break]"You're a tiny, tiny player. Hope you know that." If he did, Whimsy didn't care. What, though, came to Cogimo's attention was Demini...On the snorlax's head...[break]"Oh no..." Another puff of purple spores and, both, Whimsy, as well as, his new friend, fell asleep. The student stared at the scene for a second or before chuckling quietly as walked up to the three, picked up Whimsy, and motioned for Demini to follow. He then motioned the girl into the direction of the town.[break]"Let's go and report this one to the rangers. And, in the meanwhile, you can finally tell me your name." The boy laughed, "And I will buy breakfast after all the calories we ran off."
