    It was hard to get a steady income. Even if he’d reclassified himself as a ‘bodyguard for hire’, who the fuck would want to hire him anyway? Merc work, as he put it, was slow and in between. So he’d decided to turn to one of his other hobbies instead: Taking pictures. Even if it was absolutely demeaning, that was what he went to university for. Fancy-ass bloody artistic course. Fat lot of good that brought him. Thank the fuck he was in the jousting club back in Hammerlocke University, and had the strength to wield a lance with precision. But then again, who wanted a halberdier these days? This wasn’t bloody Galar after all. Looking out towards the ocean, he found it hard to believe that a war had actually happened here several months ago. Stopping for a while, he snapped a few photos of the horizon, pausing to chase a flock of Wingull and Pelipper as they flew across the briny seas. |
