IN TIME, SELENA HAS COME TO ACCEPT HER ROLE AS WELL being the head of their group. This position does not come with superiority or bias but being simply a designation of tasks. But Selena knows that when their mettles were tested, all of them proved to be trustworthy leaders on their own.

There is no question with Ashley Shepard being a thronemate for their Galarian royalty stint for the last two decades. There is a surprising relief hearing Hitoshi Inoue's tale as a sensei to his kenshis as well. If given a chance, if given a different circumstance, and if they are to perform what they are expected to perform during the trials, she knows she would have pale in comparison to the two.

Perhaps the comment about "being more" struck Selena in more ways than she could have ever imagined. She felt having her own safety nets through spies and loyal subjects would have earned her the respect she deserved from the Rocket's upper echelons.

But then again, why would she ever need someone else's approval?

The team did just like what she said: Selena cuts through the boulder instead: she summons Iron Valiant at her stead in case any gets past them. Hitoshi Inoue manages himself to get a Kartana which swifts through the swarm of Glimmoras at a blinding speed. Ashley Shepard resorts to his Roaring Moon who scares off the others that remain.

And then there's only the deep endless tunnel looking back at them.

ZEKROM HAS BEEN DEFEATED. The face of the dragon pales as its lifeless eyes stare them down past the older brother and his Reshiram, into Selena and Soyeon's direction. It eventually dissipates into ashes that only an orb remains in its place. The cyclone of cinder conceals the running brother, rushing out of the stone tower and out of his brother's sight.

Eventually, the older brother will give them the DARK STONE that has remained from the Zekrom's soul.

"We'll take care of it." Selena assures him.

SELENA HURRIES AFTER SOYEON INTO THE RIFT: the spatial portal is curiously similar to that of the Hexenzirkel's quirks. Unowns surround them in a maelstrom of energy as they eventually found themselves atop a stone tower.

There is Reshiram and Zekrom but not in their shining forms: they are more subtler forces of nature ready to engage and brawl. It is only when she notices the cloaked figure beside them, arguing for truth and ideals.

While Selena herself knows she believes the younger man is more correct, she can see Soyeon being drawn to the truth teller beside the white dragon. She thinks she can just go here again next time and pick the other one, so...

"Let's help the Reshiram."

"I think I know you." She admits, but it seems the name is not recalled with the face she is acquainted with.

SELENA ALWAYS HAS A HUGE RESPECT FOR CILLIAN being the hands-on underboss that he is. After all, it is their commitment to explore these simulations in order to be the first ones to find Arceus. Seeing the hand the first time is only the closest she has ever gotten to it.

The thing with RKS is that no one knows what will happen next. Just like what dorian westcliff tells her before, you just got to make the most of everything that is happening in the simulation.

"I think I have seen this logo before." She admits to Cillian Quinn. "I can't exactly recall where. Have you?"

SELENA WATCHES dorian westcliff GETS TAKEN BY THE ARCEUS HAND, the horror which she cannot fathom how it is possible in the first place. Can he breathe in space? Will she watch him freeze in the void as his cadaver is being taken by the creature away from the ship's solace?

First things first: she needs to save the ship or suffer a simulated death.

The Kalosian calls upon all her psychic partners to patch up the hole created by the hand before figuring out how to maneuver the ship. dorian westcliff says about making the most out of this but that is a mistake: even the intuitive has no idea of what is happening in here. She thought about following the hand, but maybe suffering a similar fate as him will not lead them to something more substantial. Selena has to go somewhere else

One thing, at least, is for sure: Arceus is here in the simulation. They just have to find the right formula.

THEY DID DEFINITELY LEARN HOW FOOLPROOF THIS SIMULATION IS because the moment they chose both options, the man dressed in monochrome has disappeared before giving what he promises to give.

"Did you see it?" Selena first pertained to the missing Unown that she sees at the corner of her eye. Selena has only seen the reports about the Unown report but never did actually see its power in her own eyes. "Do we follow him?"

SELENA CANNOT EVEN REMEMBER HOW THEY SURVIVED THE WAR. So many questions are racing inside her head as she wakes up inside a space ship looking at the earth from a hundred miles away: did they win? Did they defeat the enemy lines? Did dorian westcliff kill a lot from both sides?

When she looks around the deck, she can see her partner sitting as well. It is only then that she notices the sea of sticky notes surrounding the station, most of which are scribbles and sketches where one mentions the 'ascended hall of origin'. She does not know what it means.

"Do you know what that is?" Before she can even point out the note, a loud bang resonates within the ship on the right side of it. It appears to be a hand-like creature in the shape and pattern of Arceus itself.

Could this be...?

Another loud bang and the hand destroys the part of the ship where dorian westcliff is staying, trying to get a grip of the man.
