Soyeon stood beside Selena, the scientist's brows furrowed as the two were approached by a mysterious woman. She spoke of something that eluded both women. She did have a certain elegance to her, causing Soyeon to flush a tad. Certainly not the kind of woman that she enjoyed, but more refined. "We don't have any idea as to what that is." She said, calling out Artemis. "But I think you'll find we're more than equipped to handle ourselves." Waiting in unison with Selena, Artemis would draw a Leaf Blade with her quills before firing it towards the enemy.

The attack from the Naganadel proves to be useless, as the flames are sparked weak and they are easily overpowered by the HIDDEN POWERS warping them away from their location.

Well, that could have gone a lot better. Their attacks in unison were blocked by some of the woman's compatriots, carrying an Unown each as Soyeon frowned to herself. Of course it wasn't going to be this easy. The skirmish continued after a while, until both were hit by a HIDDEN POWER that strikes the two women. Taken by Surprise, Soyeon tried to call out to Selena but found herself unable as they quickly were warped away to another area.

THEIR POWER HAS NO BEARING INSIDE THE SIMULATION WORLD, proven how easily they are warped away by the Hexenzirkel's Unowns. Flashes of kaleidoscopic colors blind Selena's eyes, loud noises bombarding her ears, forcing her to shut everything out until only silence remains.

And then, the familiar noise of footsteps paving the granite flooring fills her ears. When Selena opens her eyes, she is inside the indoor Mauville city.

"This is not the simulation experience I was expecting." She admits to soyeon kwan, pacing towards where most of the people are leading her. She finds herself drawn into the Relic Red, where one figure cladded in white and black is waiting for them to approach him.

"I call heads, you call tails?" She teases soyeon kwan, thinking they could ace whatever test this guy gives them.

Everything happened so fast. Soyeon was assaulted by waves of sensations and noises that it almost gave her a headache. But as she opened her eyes, they were back in familiar territory. "Mauville?" she said to herself, looking at Selena and then going all around. Things looked just like they did in real life, but there was an odd feeling of things seeming artificial and false. She couldn't place her finger on it just yet though.

"Agreed. I was expecting something more traditional than to be thrown into hoop after hoop. But know who we're with, it wouldn't be the same." Soyeon had a terrible sense of direction and decided to shadow behind Selena as the two were drawn across the way towards the relic. It was there that a man clad in black and white was waiting for them, along with a proposition of sorts. A simple coin game? Knowing how the last choice went, Selena seemed to want to humor it this time.

"Right. I'll call tails then. We'll see how foolproof they made this simulation."

THEY DID DEFINITELY LEARN HOW FOOLPROOF THIS SIMULATION IS because the moment they chose both options, the man dressed in monochrome has disappeared before giving what he promises to give.

"Did you see it?" Selena first pertained to the missing Unown that she sees at the corner of her eye. Selena has only seen the reports about the Unown report but never did actually see its power in her own eyes. "Do we follow him?"

The coin was flipped as both women looked up to watch it fall into place. Although they did have a bit of an advantage, the man didn't even reveal what side it faced before he'd speak up about some kind of "original one". "Pardon?" Soyeon asked before another Unown would sudden appear in the corner of her eye. She twirled around, trying to spot it but nothing. Even the man had vanished when she turned back, only to be faced with a rift.

Selena asked if they should follow him, with Soyeon did have to think upon again. They could let him go, but the mention of another one of these strange little oddities was something else. "I'm going after him. I think he may hold the keys for the answers we seek." She said, then hurrying inside of the rift.

SELENA HURRIES AFTER SOYEON INTO THE RIFT: the spatial portal is curiously similar to that of the Hexenzirkel's quirks. Unowns surround them in a maelstrom of energy as they eventually found themselves atop a stone tower.

There is Reshiram and Zekrom but not in their shining forms: they are more subtler forces of nature ready to engage and brawl. It is only when she notices the cloaked figure beside them, arguing for truth and ideals.

While Selena herself knows she believes the younger man is more correct, she can see Soyeon being drawn to the truth teller beside the white dragon. She thinks she can just go here again next time and pick the other one, so...

"Let's help the Reshiram."
