THEIR MISSION GOES FIRST; River Marx and Calliope Alvara can forgive her later. Seeing the illusory Moltres chasing at her teammates, the Kalosian takes the moment to use her remaining time wisely. Before the mist can even take up the space her Altaria has cleared for her, allowing her to have a clear view of the seal, her Naganadel swoops down into its location.

The alien dragon pounces hard with a BREAKING SWIPE, trying to clear the boulders that has fallen down the ruins. Selena can see a broken seal that has been observed in the previous reports. The grey haired lady can only wonder what mysteries surround it. Something eerie has been unsealed; something scary has been released.

But there is nothing else.

She begins to regret not helping her teammates instead. Gearing her Naganadel and her Altaria to rush back to their aid, she can only hope that she is not too late.

SINCE THE START, THE MISSION HAS BEEN CLEAR TO SELENA. Perhaps, it is the only reason that lets her survive their ordeal for the past two decades. But eventually it is not about the mission anymore: it is the desire to finally go out of this situation. declan walsh could be mad for all she cares: perhaps the Team Rocket she knew has already been replaced at this point. Perhaps it has disbanded already.

Once she is taking the lead from ZACIAN, now she is the one following it. The illusory hound speeds through the battlefield and into the woods that come after it. It ignores the fightingof the Black Knight and the Skeleton above the skies.

And so the right choice at this moment would have been not to interfere with a battle that has been decided by fate. If this is a prophecy, or a memory, then this is something beyond her control already. The only logical thing would be helping NEITHER of the two.

Even ZACIAN thinks so.

GROUDON DYING AT THE HANDS OF Hitoshi Inoue’S KINGAMBIT is a sight to behold. It is the bittersweet taste of victory that linger’s in Selena’s mouth. It is sweet smell of the god’s blood that sends them back to reality.

The desolate land mimicking Mt. Chimney has been reduced to pixilated data: the world as they know it for almost an hour slowly transforms back into the familiar view of the Rocket training room. All the traces of magma and earth cracks has been replaced by the metal floors. The dead god is know nothing but void.

"Well, I guess we made it." Selena speaks with both of her partners, finally closing the gap between them now that they are just feet away from her.

They have made it but with so much repercussions on their end. It is clear that even at simulations, the power of a god is unparalleled. But at least they know that nothing is impossible now.

kepler brueshaber'S CRITICISM DOES NOT AFFECT SELENA'S JUDGMENT. Her people listens to her. For Hammerlocke, her decisions are set in stone.

The Kalosian royalty manages to sneak the dogstone, but each and every attempt the boulder returns to the same spot in the city. She knows this because every time she visits the basement, there is nothing there but her disappointment and frustration. But kepler brueshaber doesn’t know this, so she lets the Queen think she has done the right thing.

But perhaps it is for the right reason. An ominous wind billows through the atmosphere, the familiar acrid stench filling the air. The stone may have known this and is drawn towards its fate: the Skeleton is there and they have no time to waste.

When the gigantic, serpentine dragon emerges from the earth, she is watching the south from the Hammerlocke battlement. Paperworks on her hands, juggling the new discoveries made by the science department and the reports from her recons troops, she realizes that the prophecy CALYREX foretold 20 years ago is actually happening now.

"Gather my men." She speaks to one of kepler brueshaber ’s Kingsguard who have become loyal to her, lifting herself from her seat as she picks up her Black Pendant and the Dynamax Band. "It’s time for war."

The Queen reaches the battlefield with her power of TELEKINESIS: training herself for ten years to be able to channel this newfound psychic energy from Necrozma's power into her body to levitate from the ground. This gives her enough vista to see what is happening in the battlefield and what is the easiest and fastest way to reach the dragon and the knight.

"Our target is the Gigantamax Rillaboom. Lead our troops down that road and have our best knights rounding up the toxic Pokemons and their general. Recon, find a way around the Rillaboom. I'll deal with that monster."

Akhlys savors the power dripping from the sky as the poison dragon in itself DYNAMAXED upon its trainer’s commands. Selena, who flies alongside the UB Sting, watches the dragon use the MAX FLARE against the giant gorilla, hoping the HARSH SUNLIGHT that comes after will help eliminate the poison army. She nods cross-armed in satisfaction. "Good job, buddy."

Looking at the ground, she watches her army parry against the sludge creatures with their Pokemons. Her eyes caught in the midst if the battlefield the gaze of the unsuspecting ZACIAN, who is more or less neutral to her. Does it forgive her for what she's done, or is it not aware of her selfish interests?

"Let's get you to where you need to be, oui?" She speaks in her mind as she looks back at the hound, expecting the creature to understand her.

After Akhlys, she dives back into the battlefield, into where Zacian might be, and attempts to lead it to where the recon troops might have lead her.

Selena has only seen and read these kinds of Pokemons from the encyclopedias of Paldea but it is her first time to actually see one.

With every careful step she takes, she leans closely into the walls, trying not to cause too much distraction in fear of the creatures' tendency to self-explode.
