The two made their way along the beach, singing to their heart’s content. But it wouldn’t take long until they attracted attention; a single Pyukumuku, awoken from its slumber. It came out to investigate the noise, and found the boy and his little fairy singing along.

It moved (slowly) to intercept the pair. Cream noticed it pretty quickly, and ran as quickly as she could to protect her trainer. But she didn’t want to interrupt the singing with a fight. Not when the song was getting to a good part!

So she rushed up to the Pyukumuku, who was definitely staring at her menacingly. She went all the way up to it, and it...didn’t do anything but glare at her. It braced itself for an attack, but was baffled when all she did was plant a Sweet Kiss on its forehead before catching back up with her trainer, wiping her mouth off on her trainer’s pants.

The Pyukumuku stared at the Alcremie, before its cheeks puffed up and reddened as it tried to strike at her with its insides - only to miss completely. In its tantrum, it ended up hitting itself on the head, knocking itself back out and returning to a less peaceful slumber.

Hideo only noticed it when he heard it hurt itself in confusion. “Was that a Pokemon?” Hideo asked, arming himself with an empty Pokeball. But Cream just pushed him onward, urging him to continue.

Hideo shrugged, putting the Pokeball away as he went back to his song - Cream joining in once again.

Skipping the Pyukumuku

The two sang along, Cream even dancing around once she was by Hideo’s side. Said dancing just consisted of twirling around, a move she knew all-too-well. No matter how much she spun, she never got dizzy, and it didn’t inhibit her singing at all.

However, there was one thing that could get in the way of her fun; another Pokemon appeared. This one literally came out of thin air; a Kirlia Teleported in, drawn in by the music. And rather than throw a fit like the Pyukumuku, this one was dancing along to the music - twirling around just like Cream did.

Cream did not like this Pokemon coming here and stealing her act, but she didn’t pay it much heed; Hideo wouldn’t notice. So she kept dancing and singing, keeping an eye on the interloper.

“♫-Nine six six nine, six seven six two.♫” Hideo ended the song with a sharp breath in. “Man, it took me forever to memorize that last part. Think I did a good job, Cream?”

She offered him an applause and some cheering - again with her name.

So did the Kirlia, which immediately drew Hideo’s attention.

Cream didn’t like that. Especially when the Kirlia approached them, acting all happy about his singing and wanting to join with him. Cream didn’t trust her at all; she must have been trying to Charm him or something.

She wouldn’t let this stand.

Cream pushed the Kirlia over with some Mystical Fire, startling Hideo. Before the Kirlia could stand back up, Cream was on her, just going all in with her small, stubby fists.

It took a moment before Hideo finally intervened. “Cream, stop! I don’t think it was trying to attack!” It was enough to get her to stop her assault, though by then the Kirlia was ko’d. Cream moved off, dusting herself off as she regained her composure, trying to urge him to sing again.

Unfortunately, he just took out a Pokeball and tossed it at the beaten Kirlia. Dang - guess her Charm worked.
