After last week of getting high as fuck in celebration of 4/20, this week Chu-e figured he could be a little calmer... by beating the shit out of some wild pokemon! It was still time to teach Sparklefur, the Shadow Delcatty, some more about absolutely demolishing some little bitches. If he found some Poison types while doing so then all the better! Some Fairy types would also be cool, too... honestly, he would probably catch just about anything. He needed to get his hands on some more trade fodder.

A rumbling Shiftry stepped from the overgrowth which made Chu-e wrinkle his nose. Damn. It looked like it wanted a fight, which was whatever, but Chu-e already had one of these sitting in a pokeball in a box at home. He didn't need another Shiftry.

"Sparklefur?" The Delcatty stepped up, kittenish smile on her face as she circled the larger pokemon. Opening her maw, a small spark of energy started to build. The Shiftry lunged with a Leaf Blade. Sparklefur didn't move to dodge, only opened her jaw wider and unleashed a blast of ice, fire, and electricity with her Tri Attack, knocking the Shiftry out of the air.

The wounded wild pokemon curled up. Sparklefur tried to go in for the kill - but was held off by Chu-e calling her back for now. He didn't feel bad for the Shiftry so much as he did want to hurry and move on.

A Spitzee was curled in the upper branches of a tree, shivering as it watched the carnage of the fight. Chu-e glanced up at it, considering. On the one hand, he did enjoy Fairy types and having extra would always be welcome. On the other, that wasn't what he was here for today.

Taking a few moments, he turned and walked away from the tree and from the pokemon and anything else. Maybe the next pokemon.

When a Mawile scrambled out of the brush, wild eyed and frightened, hu-e clicked his tongue. Damn. Wasn't what he had been looking for this week, either. Oh well. Grabbing a pokeball from his pocket, he was determined to at least not go home empty handed. Maybe in a few days when he had recuperated from trapizing around outside he could come back and look again.

If only he hadn't let that frog from a few weeks ago get away. Maybe then this compulsion to look for new pokemon would leave him.
