Is all Raziel could think as his nerves were in his throat having been called on. Training outside his mother didn’t happen often with him, so when it did he ways always on edge. Though obey is always the key point. Obey, and don’t make his parents look bad. He gives his brother a hesitant look who just seems to motion for his brother to move forward and Raziel does just that. “S-sir yes sir,” the now teenager stuttered, nervous as most his time was in the labs at his father’s side not training. So it wasn’t as much as he wished. [break][break]

He doesn’t release anything yet though as he hasn’t been told to. Wait and do as ordered, that’s what was always beaten in.

”YES!” he confirms the order as he takes out the luxury ball before tossing it out to bring out his Nidorina. It probably wasn’t the best pokemon to use for this as their opponent was a Crobat, but it was his best pokemon and the one who knew silent commands the most in comparison to the others. ”Lets start off,” he tells her and she nods as she goes for CAPTIVATE in order to try and lower the other’s attack. The poison pokemon giving a bit of a wink as she uses it. Razz isn’t as good as his father for being able to tell the difference in sex in some pokemon. But he figure he’d give it a shot. [break][break]

It isn’t until after he says that though that h wonders if that counted as not being silent enough as he still told her to go, but it wasn’t like he called out the attack right? It should be okay... shouldn’t it?

“Okay so its female,” Raziel mutters under his breath as he tries to think of something else. He’s hard battles where he’s had to fight for his life before training like this was nothing, “Dodge!” He orders on habit though as the Confuse Ray as he knows it was bad enough they were trying something new he didn’t need the confusion there. Razz tries for a two short whistle pattern, but it was clear the confusion wasn’t needed for her to not get it. The command sounding too much like what he set up with ‘Helping Hand’ than anything else, so she guesses. The Nidorina charging before jumping up with a DOUBLE KICK thinking it would be the better choice. [break][break]

Raziel tenses up some as for him he asked for Crunch at least he was pretty sure he did. Shit for now he’ll pretend to go with it not wanting to be in trouble or scold his pokemon for it. He was still a teenager, he was getting there.

Noting when her trainer was in danger has become second nature to her. Already by nature Nidorina were a protective bunch, but when hatched and given the order from birth that this human was hers to protect she would do so. Raziel panicked when his trainer clicked and the Crobat was aimed at him. All he could really do is bring his arms up in his own defense. At least until Nidorina was able to get in the way taking the full force of the Air Slash. He wants to thank her but he quickly covers his mouth, realizing his mistake from before. He doesn’t apologize though as he had to be silent, and he feels saying sorry would break that more. [break][break]

He just hopes that Nidorina taking his punishment wouldn’t make it worst after. Silent silent silent, he repeats in his mind as his pokemon awaits an order. He wasn’t his brother but he could keep trying. With a whistle he tries to give her an order once more, this time both seemed to be on the same page as Nidorina used POISON STING to try and attack the Crobat from her place afar.

Raziel panics when he can tell he’s being targeted once again. He takes in the advance and snaps his fingers in his usual ‘come’ command as both Raziel and his pokemon move to the right to avoid the attack this time. Though he was a bit slow being both human and a child as he feels one of the air blades cut his shin as he runs making him trip and fall. He bites his lip until it bleeds but he doesn’t cry in pain, his mother always discouraged this, yell about how it looked bad on her and how he should never make her look bad. [break][break]

Get up and counter right? While he falters because of the pain he does force himself up not wanting a bad report before he whistles weakly but this time he points at Theo. Nidorina looks back confused as she doesn’t recognize the command but she would go forward to try and use Fury Swipes on the other human. She didn’t know his order but she understood his intent.

There is small hope when blood is drawn, even if it were small. From behind him he could hear his twin give a ‘yes!’ But they’re also quick to shut up as Raziel tried to think of how to go forward. He wants to order her the normal way as it was clear to him that they were out of sync and their orders still needed work. Something he couldn’t admit to. The young boy has to lean on one leg now as blood drips down the other from the Air Slash. [break][break]

He grimaces when Nidorina is struck by the Cross Poison knocking the inexperienced pokemon back some. The only reason she wasn’t down for good now was her own natural defense and resistance to poison. Raziel gave a whistle, once where the two knew they other knew. All he could do is hope that his teacher wasn’t catching on to the same whistle for POISON STING . On instinct she attacks the Crobat rather than Theo, damn it how was he suppose to direct things like this?[break][break]

“Permission to ask you something sir!?” he knows its dumb to ask in the middle of a battle but Theo would just go to the next person after once he wins right? How else would he learn?

There is a bit of shock there, he didn’t actually think the older man would allow him the question in the middle of their battle. All he and his Nidorina can do is brace themselves from the TAILWIND as its used to stop their attack. Oh no oh no they were getting predictable. ”Umm.. I uhh,” he blanks a bit clearly still surprised that he was allowed the chance. [break][break]

“How am I suppose to direct between targets if I’m not allowed words?” he finally ask clearly uncertain, ”How does one command when there is more than one enemy?”
