THE FIT.

noise bounced from wall to wall, in this small place. there was laughter, the clattering of glasses, and one too many eyes flitting in her direction. she ignored them, instead nursing a fruity drink with ebony painted lips.

despite being a tourist trap, this pit was oddly comforting. still, you could tell who was an out of towner. gazes alight with curiosity, lingering from one piece of the décor to the next.

natalie ran her teeth down against the bottom of her lip, wondering; weighing. who would she be leaving with tonight?

A third bar in Lilycove. Not the rowdy pub she’d met skyler dross in, nor was it Kaleidoscope, where her nights with FERNANDO SILPH had all begun.

This was fresh territory. Why was she here? Because she’d been looking for an opportunity.

Almost out of nowhere, Lulu appeared in the seat beside her.

“Hello, Casey.”

Without yet making eye contact, she surveyed the liquor selection and opted to order a cheap tequila on the rocks. When it met her palm, she looked over at the woman.

the sudden appearance of lulu next to her doesn't stir the same emotion as last time. the tip of her tongue was saturated in her own cheap tequila mix, face feeling slightly flush. her wits were about her, surely, but the in-between she felt now was... good.

"still playing that game are we?" she cooed in response, her body half-turning to face the woman. she took her in. beautiful; dangerous.

natalie's smile was hungry.

Lulu was perceptive of the certain look in Natalie’s smile. It was acknowledged by the smallest twitch of a smirk and a brief flash of something in her eyes, maybe.

“It’s not a game.” As her fingers curled around faceted glass, one tapped at a smooth angle. “I just don’t like to walk through crowds of people. Don’t mind me.”

After a moment of staring, she took a sip. “You did well.”

"i suppose it also helps that it also gives you the upper hand in most social gatherings?" she mused, mind wandering towards the idea of scaring your company shitless every single time.

"i'd say the same, but, i think only one had the time to watch the other." her eyes flick upwards, catching lulu's own.

"is this another then?"

Bringing the tequila to her lips, she lazily allowed herself to be led for a moment. “Hm? What do you mean?”

her eyes flashed towards lulu, unconcerned by the threat in her eyes.

"me?" she mused once more, sipping the liquor in front of her. "just a girl having a drink."

natalie's gaze wanders, then, as if let-down; bored.
