she was here to look for more fairy-types.

so far, her solo excursions into the wilderness did not provide fruitful enough. with her was Tyrant, the little shiny Mareanie. he puffed his cheeks out at the crunching nose. yes, she heard it too. turning, she would spot a boy and his dog. how cliché. "looking for Pokémon?" Siobhan straightened up on the path, turning to face the blond haired kid.

maybe not so much a kid but more of a baby-face. she could not tell his exact age. he seemed to be new at this, or was he like her? did she merely hear rumors of fairy-types here? the woman waits for him to answer, or not. she did not mind company in this particular day, but if he was irksome she would merely walk away. leave him be, and hope he could leave her be as well.

His Houndour took them to another trainer. Taking out his phone, he checked the Pokemon. A Mareanie. And a different colored one too...how cool! "Kind of, yes. I also didn't mind meeting other trainers...that Pokemon is really cool looking!" The pink pokemon had barbs on its tentacles at on its head, plus it kind of looked like it had a crown on its head. He was about to speak again when his Houndour's spine stiffened. "What is it boy?" A flash of green leapt from some bushes and onto a tree.

Again using his phone, the blond checked what it was. A Simisage? And it looked irate too! "Houndour, use smog and lets get out of here!" Monkeys typically live in groups. He wasn't going to die from trying to take on a bunch of monkeys! The dog Pokemon opened his mouth and let out a wave of noxious gases towards the grass type. Both him and his Pokemon jumped down and ran off towards the other trainer. Only to run right into something pink and big. Keenan tripped over it and landed right on his back. This time, he knew the Pokemon right away. It was a Chansey. Jumping up, he looked at the other trainer and pointed at the pink nursing Pokemon. He was wondering if she wanted to try to catch it or if it was already her's. The other Pokemon on the other hand, was coughing, but ready to keep going...

"yes" Tyrant had been a lucky find, no doubt about that "he's of the shiny variety." but before either human could elaborate, the young man was reacting to what his Houndour saw. the canine was quick to offer a Smog. Siobhan fanned some of the poisonous gas in front of her idly before the blond joined them.

Siobhan would shake her head, allowing the Chansey to be on their way. after looking briefly shocked the blond had almost run into it, the wild Pokémon teetered off. "fairy-types" she says to him "are what I search for" or an Eevee or two, but he didn't need to know that right away. her eyes glance away, Tyrant bouncing at her side.

he was very eager to show off for the human who said he was 'cool'.

The grassy monkey seemed to think better of picking a fight when Houndour stood in front of Keenan and snarled at it, the wild Pokemon running for the hills. Hopefully going to seek treatment. Keenan nodded at the woman after she shook her head, and allowed the nursing pokemon to leave without incident. She said she was looking for Fairy-types. He half wondered if she was just wanting one to round out her team or if there was some other reason. Her cool, and rare apparently, Pokemon was bouncing, practically eager to show off. Apparently the poison and water type liked him already.



"I'm not really looking for something in particular. If the Pokemon looks cool, I guess? Anyways, if you don't mind a temporary ally, my Houndour can probably sniff something out..." If she was okay with that, that is. And if she was, Houndour would do some more sniffing around. That Chansey was an interesting find. But he really wasn't interested in the support Pokemon...he was far from being a nurse or medical profession of any kind. He just patiently waited for his Houndour to do his work. Keenan wasn't particularly a sociable person...though he was fairly easy to talk to.

It didn't take too long before Houndour found a scent, and barked at them. Kee nodded and started to follow his Pokemon, hoping the woman and her own Mareanie can keep up. In another clearing, there were two Pokemon that looked like they were having an argument. A Granbull and a Wigglytuff. He...actually liked the way Granbull looked. "What luck...both are Fairy types. Are you okay taking the Wigglytuff? I'm really looking at that Granbull and want to add it to my team..."

Hopefully she'll be fine with that. If not, he could flip a coin to see who gets what. With that decided, hopefully they'd both walk out together at the same time, earning the two arguing Pokemon's attention.

each person had their own type of Pokemon they liked. as much as the Granbull tempted her, she let the young man have it. having followed the Houndour's nose with some success, she did not mind. t'was his find. "very well" Siobhan replies, snapping her fingers to let loose Tyrant.

the Mareanie would scuttle forward, aiming Venom Drench at the Wigglytuff. as part fairy-type, it was effective. Tyrant would become her fairy-hunter, she just knew it. Wigglytuff began to slow down, and that's when she lobbed a Pokeball at it. it encased the wild Pokemon inside, rocking back and forth before settling. hopefully.

Siobhan would turn to the blond. "your turn." with the argument between Granbull and Wigglytuff effectively silenced, the canine-like fairy looked a bit lost.

The blue haired girl went in first, attracting the two Pokemon's attetion. But the Wigglytuff was the one that seemed to be aggressive. But before it could do its own attack, Mareanie acted first, with a snap of its trainer's fingers. It soon began to slow down, and the lady lobbed a Pokeball at it. She then turned to him, telling him it was his turn. Houndour stepped up. At first, the Granbull stepped back. Then Keenan ordered his puppy to use Ember. The fire-type opened his mouth and fired several dozen balls of fire. It wasn't going to be particularly effective, but also not necessarily worthless either. The larger Pokemon put his hands up and weathered through the assault. And used Scary Face.

Houndour hesitated at first, but then the scary looking Pokemon bounded towards it practically in a rage. It slammed into Houndour, but it also allowed the Pokemon to use Fire Fang. Granbull practically threw the dog away, but Houndour landed on feet, and used Smog. The fairy type didn't look too good from it, but still bounded over in a rage. Kee wondered if that was the Outrage attack. Houndour again used Ember to try to slow it down. It helped to an extent, as the purple/dark pink Pokemon slammed into a tree. It was Kee's turn to throw a Pokeball. And hopefully luck was on his side...

BOTH OF YOUR CAPTURE ATTEMPTS ARE SUCCESSFUL!

with some captured and some let go, Siobhan would begin to head off. she did not feel like sticking around for anything, for she had various jobs to do. money was tight as it was. she wasn't going to waste Pokeballs on beasts that didn't appeal to her. it would seem this area was geared toward novices as well. she was not a novice.

recalled Tyrant, who would soon evolve into a Toxapex with the spare experience gathered from this excursion, she would wave a hand at the young man. Siobhan was not one for idle chat or awkward goodbyes. but she was going to say it anyway. "farewell." and that was it, exiting the area as leisurely as possible.

The pokeball wiggled a few times before stopping, and the light on the button stopped glowing. It was a successful capture. Smiling, Keenan walked over and picked it up. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of you. As will Derek." Soon after, the pokeball glowed white and disappeared. His older brother should get his new addition at his place just on the outskirts of Olivine City. It was a ways away, but it was amazing what technology can do. The lady recalled her Mareanie and waved goodbye, wishing him farewell. Kee would wave back. "Yep, goodbye and good luck on your endeavors!" He also wasn't one for long goodbyes. Though he wouldn't have minded some idle chit chat. Oh well. She was probably very busy, and this was her way to unwind.

Besides, he better get back to the main trail anyways. His younger brother was likely getting a little bit antsy. Houndour sniffed the air, and started to move back towards the trail. Keenan wasn't that good at directions yet, so having a dog-like Pokemon being his guide worked well. After getting back, he recalled his injured Houndour and they continued on towards Oldale town.
