Emma glances at him, the scoff catching her attention faster than anything else. It amuses her, as is evident by the uptilt of her brow.[break][break]

"Will you?"[break][break]

Emma looks away from him and back toward their mess of bloodthirsty bandits. She huffs, shaking her head slowly. One, specifically, out of the three that circle the net, pushes through the rest to approach Emma. The woman tilts her chin up, exhibiting just a moment of aversion.[break][break]

Hades, the midnight-forme Lycanroc, pauses in his advance. Only when Emma's slight passes does he continue, coming to her as her companion, as her eyes and ears.[break][break]

"You're welcome."[break][break]

Emma turns away from him, guided now by Hades' wet nose beneath her palm. She retains her easy smile, one that hasn't graced her features in some time- and yet persists now without her say-so. Eventually, the woman's Lycanroc peel off, leaving King to handle the remainder of the situation himself.[break][break]

She'd done the heavy lifting, and she was more than happy to leave him behind to clean up the mess and carry it home for her.
