Mason really did not know what to do. He had never encountered a legendary Pokemon before and he was not sure of what kind of strength they possess. But the trainer he was battling against gave him an idea that might just work.[break][break]

Then, it was as if the boy was overtaken by something else. ”Alright then. Elio, Lily, let’s do this,”. He threw out another Poke Ball up high in the air. A Volcarona soon appeared, flapping its crimson wings in the sky, imitating the glow of the sun.[break][break]

”Elio, burn it down,”. Without any delay, the Volcarona flew up high towards the bed of plants the Tapu Bulu was sleeping in. Once he was close enough, flames began to cloak him as he spun around, then he flapped his wings, scattering his ember scales all over the plant bed and the Tapu Bulu. [break][break]

The boy had to rethink the whole two versus one situation. Lily and Elio wasn’t the best pair to work together. So he did not give any instructions to Lily yet. He wanted to see how the legendary Pokemon reacts to the sea of flames Elio had brought down on it. [break][break]

Bulu was used to fire. The legendary's black coloring wasn't natural, after all. It was a relic of its fight with Heatran. The bull's wooden exterior had burned permanently after spending minutes fighting in a a scorching storm of magma. Trying fire on Bulu was like trying to roast a piece of charcoal.

"You're gonna have to hit it with more than that," Zac said. But Mason's Volcarona hadn't just hit Bulu. It had hit the plants. As the foliage around the bull burnt to ash, the legendary opened its eyes. Plants burned. Shade gone. Enough was enough! The hot wind wasn't painful, but it was sure making for unpleasant sleeping weather. Bulu heaved itself up, staring down the moth.

"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The cry rang out, long and low. It shuddered the trees, shook the clouds, and made Zac's teeth hurt.

Above them, white clouds gathered. Pale, dense clouds that were thick with rain. Huge, white droplets fell from the sky, splattering the battlefield and quickly evaporating to milky steam.

"You did it mate!" Zac shouted, patting Mason on the back as the rain around them strengthened from a light, lactose sprinkle to a full on dairy downpour. The gym leader seemed to take no notice of the fact that the pair were getting completely soaked with milk. "Going for the plants was a stroke of genius!"

”Ouch!” the legendary’s loud cry was enough to make Mason cover both his ears. He had never heard anything so loud before. Like his trainer, the Volcarona also did not anticipate the shuddering cry, making it hard for Elio to stay afloat in the sky. [break][break]

Then it rained down. Though it was not exactly water. Mason looked up at the sky and saw numerous thick droplets of white liquid pouring down the terrain. He hold his hand out, when the white liquid pooled in it he gave it a sniff. ”I-Is this milk?” he asked to the older man, a bit shocked. [break][break]

He then remembered that he was in a middle of a battle as his two Pokemon began to make their move. They seem very excited to go against the legendary especially after the sight of the Z-move. [break][break]

Lily, the Milotic, heaved, creating a blue ball of energy then shot it with a torrent of spiralling water at the Tapu Bulu. Elio followed it up by vibrating his wings, producing red waves that would normally hurt the mind of the Pokemon being hit by it.[break][break]

Bulu tore up a nearby tree, using the trunk to block the incoming WATER PULSE. The powerful spray showered the already soaked battlefield, diluting the milk.

"Uh oh," Zac said, ominously. "Uh, I think we may have gone a bit too far." As if to prove his point, Bulu hurled the tree at Volcarona. The massive projectile tore through the incoming BUG BUZZ, its bark peeling back and falling in chewed chunks. Bulu reached for another of the massive seaside pines. Grasping vines burst from the ground around Milotic as NATURE'S MADNESS surrounded the serpent in a cage of twisted, slashing brambles.

"It's probably best to either run, or try to slow it down," Zac advised, as he took a few wet steps back. "I'm sure Bulu will tire itself out in a bit and go back to sleep...probably."

To Elio and Lily. The battle had just begun.[break][break]

As the Vines emerged from the ground, so did a greenish energy field forming around the Milotic, blocking the wild vines. Elio saw this as a chance to attack, he covered the distance with a graceful dance before circling around the Legendary Pokemon. Flaming scales scattered from his wings once again, it cloaked the arena with scorch and caused an inferno to emerge around the Tapu Bulu.[break][break]

Mason was in awe. His Pokemon really wanted to do this. He could not possibly let them down. While the other man took a cautious step back, the boy watched with determination. Like the flames of the Volcarona blazed so did the passion in his eyes.[break][break]

Volcarona's FIERY DANCE sizzled against the rain of milk, covering the battlefield in a haze of milky steam. The humidity rose, and found himself soaked, steamed, and sweating.

As Bulu tore another pine out of the sandy soil, an inferno swirled around the legendary. Bulu roared again, and HURLED THE FLAMING TREE at the flying opponent.

As Miliotic approached, Bulu set its eyes on the serpent. It poured at the ground, carving a deep gash in the sizzling sands, before charging head-first at the serpent with a bone-shuddering HORN LEECH.

Bulu didn't have anything to prove in this battle. These opponents were merely minor obstacles between the legendary and its next nap. Once they were defeated, Tapu Bulu could rest easy again.

The Volcarona flew around the flying and burning tree with yet another majestic dance. But while he was dodging it the Milotic could only put up one last fight. She used Ice Beam on the incoming Bulu before being hit by the Horn Leech, enough to take her out. [break][break]

Mason gritted his teeth and returned the Milotic back to her Pokeball. ”You did amazing Lily,” he said before setting his eyes back on the Legendary Pokemon. [break][break]

This time Elio was his only chance to victory, that is if he had any from the very start at least. ”This isn’t the first time me and Elio faced an opponent far stronger than us,” he remembered the time where he battled Amor and his Dragonite while Elio was just a Larvesta. ”But that did not stop us and so won’t this; Elio show ‘em what we’ve got!”.[break][break]

The Volcarona seemed to be even more hyped. He spun around, releasing a group of flaming scales towards the Tapu Bulu. He then followed it up by quickly vibrating his six wings, sending red waves that was sent down the same path as the scorching scales.[break][break]

+ Elio used Quiver Dance to dance around the hurling flaming tree![break][break]
+ Lily used Ice Beam at the charging Tapu Bulu![break][break]
+ Lily fainted out after taking the hit from the Horn Leech[break][break]
