[attr="class","matias"]through the thick of the HURRICANE comes a HYDRO PUMP that's perhaps a little off target, at least enough that makes it so charizard's able to avoid it with a simple dip in the air. the torrent of water floats past, missing entirely as charizard closes the distance.

and then, a DRAGON PULSE.

The HURRICANE is enough to toss the dragon around and force CONFUSION to settle in. No wonder the HYDRO PUMP missed. She’s off balance, teetering in the air on large wings. The dragon roars, shaking her head in an attempt to stave off the confusion.

“Huh?” Eva watches curiously from below. It’s very uncommon to see the Salamence falter while flying – she’s an excellent flier, Eva’s best.

The DRAGON PULSE does her in. The blast is enough to completely throw her off balance. The world was already spinning, and now she is spinning. Gravity pulls her down. Confused, she struggles to regain control.

“Oh!” Eva gasps, instinctively clutching the pokeball. Eva waits a beat, hoping the Salamence would gain control. She never does. At the last minute Eva returns the Salalmence, preventing her from crash landing into the sand. A sharp breath of relief relaxes her shoulder, “That was close,” she frowns, glancing over at Matias, “Alright, you and Ash take this one. Next time . . . We won’t take it easy on you,” she grins with a playful wink.
