as the disable strikes, the soft glow of light around his end of the rope disappears.

[break][break] the sudden change in momentum causes the person across from him to lose their footing and stumble. jayden looks up, distracted momentarily by the forehead band branded with Melody Miro fanclub insignia.

even jayden has to grimace. his malamar was stronger than anticipated — not that it was surprising.

[break][break] maybe sven was a little more than competitive too.

[break][break] their opponent's yawn seems lackluster, the bubble of air dissipating a few feet from where jayden's team was. it doesn't even land on them. a vallant effort, though.

[break][break] it does crash - somehow - into one of their other opponent's pokemon. jayden has a vague feeling of the tension on the rope loosening because someone's mr. mime crashes into the sand below.

[break][break] the durant skitters from the ground, aiming it's large pincers at the closest enemy. hopefully no one's toes, at least.

tapping his ankle against his leg, a pokeball pops open to an onix that immediately coils around his trainer. a heavy IRON TAIL blocks any advances, allowing matias to continue tugging.

the onix's iron tail does more harm than it helps. it knocks up debris and sand, making it more of an annoyance than anything.

[break][break] that being said, his durant does skitter backwards away from MATIAS SILPH toes and decides to cause a hindrance for the others on the field instead.

[break][break] as jayden continues to tug, his dratini floats through the air and aims a HYDRO PUMP at matias and his teammates.

[break][break] the stealth rock that MATIAS SILPH summons make the ground rumble, and one of them even pierces lada. the umbreon lets out a startled cry, before crumpling to the floor.
