When Zac Ramsay offered his hand, Ciel took it eagerly and shook it with all the energy of an excited puppy.

"Ciel Simmons, Mr. Ramsay!" When he finally pulled his hand away, instead of launching into some battle stuff, Ciel flipped open his notebook to a scribbled in set of pages with pictures sticking out.

"I'm a huge fan of your work! If it's alright, could I ask you some questions?" A tape recorder was taken from his pocket to show his intent.

"That sounds good to me! Snaps!" He turned towards his Krookodile. "Do you think you can handle a quick battle?" The pokemon grunted and nodded, eying who might be his opponents.

With that out of the way, it was time for all his burning questions to be answered.

A picture was pulled out of the notebook, a screen-grab of a Haunter that Zac Ramsay would recognize... it was from his ruins adventure! "Can you tell me more about this pokemon?"

"Well, I was wondering if you heard the sound of his laugh!" Turning the picture around and getting a bit closer to Zac Ramsay, he pointed to it as he explained.

"See the curvature of the spines, here? That, with the softer purple color, shows that it is Sinnohan descent! Very unusual to find in the wild!" Flipping to another page, he held up another picture of a Haunter. To the untrained eye, the two would look identical.

Whatever was happening in that battle, Snaps was Crunching up a storm.

"I'm a specialist! In Ghost types, specifically. I do a lot of research to help remove the stigma around them as well as understand their behaviors!" It was exciting work, to him.

"I've explored a lot of abandoned places and never seen a stranger sight than in that video. It caused quite a stir in my little community pocket."

"It can!" He flips his notebook to another page, to the ruins with the markings on the walls.

"These markings here are very similar to Runegis and Galarian Yamask... it's strange, almost like a dialect." He points between some pictures of the pokemon verses the ruins. While differences in shape and color are there, if one squinted you could see vague similarities.

"I hope you'll forgive me for being a bit of a fanboy. There's been many long nights combing over books where your videos have kept me company."

Ciel seem absolutely delighted with where Zac Ramsay was going.

"Exactly!" He practically bounced on his feet, flipping to another page of scribbles and offering it to the redhead to see.

"If someone could find evidence of early human settlements on Hoenn from other regions, it could blow current archeological studies out of the water!"
