Deciding to do a couple of matches like this with simple obstacle races Razz waiting for another opponent. This time against another Racer, like before he doesn't know who they are. Though now that he's done this one he has a better understanding. He looks over toward the Captain who is looking at both Rangers expectantly. [break][break]

"Uhh... Razz Kingsman, I was a Ranger in Sootopolis, but guess I work for Silph Co now? I don't know its kinda confusing," he shrugs still finding this whole intro thing weird.

It's a joy to be relieved of patrol duties, to finally get a chance to enjoy the tournament for what it is and soak in the atmosphere. Alas, expectations are often a far cry from reality and she struggles to grasp that very fact.

Her introduction is as brisk as it is rough, a mild air of disinterest entangled in her presence as she eyes her opponent. There is a nervousness in him as the other mentions being from Kalos. More often than not he can pull off saying he was from Kalos all he wanted but he was always afraid with being found out by natives. "Oh hey I'm from Cyllage City," he can't help but respond automatically. Though there is a burn in his mouth as he does it. Stupid dragon. Though that was enough for him to say.[break][break]

"Good see was that so hard?" the captain asks Kingsman seeing as last time he did this it was terrible.[break][break]

"Yes," he decides not to lie this time as he doesn't want another burn. The captain just glares at him before blowing a whistle after both are at the starting line.

A child raised by the sea? And one that seems to regret saying it. In a sense, Zahra can understand what he's feeling; Mentioning her surname or her city of origin always seems to be a gamble with people. If she runs into anyone that recognises her, she's more than likely going to be pestered about the family business that she has no hand in.

But she also senses that his hesitation is due to reasons more... peculiar.

"Ah, lovely place. Wish I could have been there more often." Secrets are to be kept as secrets for as long as the holder wishes, so she doesn't quite pry into it. Ollie is way more invested in getting to run about, attempting to grasp a glimpse of the Future and the obstacles they'll face ahead. Laughing at his enthusiasm, Zahra readies herself, starting off with a light jog as soon as the whistle is blown.

The younger man shrugs, "It was alright?" he knows little of it really, but he can always play the fool. Pretend to just be disinterested in the place. [break][break]

As the whistle blows Razz is already running with Sabrina on his back rather than Salem this time around. The course seems to be different than the one before. It seems there were several courses so it wasn't so easy to get used to. Some of them even had you run it backward. He pauses slightly though at the other Ranger. [break][break]

His run slowign to a jog as her words and he seems confused by her. "But this is a race?"

Well, as sorry as one can get in a situation as ridiculous as this.

Interlocking her fingers, Zahra stops to give Ollie a boost over a rock wall, grabbing onto the ledge and pulling herself up. Even if she doesn't wish to exert herself, she at least needs to show that she's capable of being a ranger, lest the supervisors kick her ass at a later date.

"Childhood was filled with if you didn't try your best you weren't worth the time, so can't really say I relate to your 'treat this like a kids game," he admits to. Though he rather not get into it during their race. [break][break]

When the Rock Wall comes Sabrina uses PSYCHIC in order to lighten her trainer. Allowing him to just jump the wall as if he were in 0 gravity as get to the top easy before jumping down to the ground with only a little thud. Next up there were a bunch of water pokemon up on a wall. And a rocky terrain with places to hide behind. [break][break]

And just his luck they were all on the right side. Lovely.

Because the water pokemon were on his right side, Sabrina had to be the one to direct them. Often she would either counter the water, or move him entirely when it was too close. So he keep running expecting the other to keep up with him, or better since the last course was not to his favor. [break][break]

"But you're not a kid, I'm pretty sure you're my age if not older," he simply counters as if it were no big deal./ He doesn' seem to understanbd the concept of. They don't need to try so hard.

Target line the edges of the arena, a counter sat above a closed door - An accuracy test of sorts, she remembers. Unless they destroy enough targets, they'll be stuck here for a while.

Thankfully, there's no rule that states how the targets must be broken.

Ollie begins to tear through this obstacle with ease, Slashing each target and lowering the counter. As soon as the tracker reaches zero, he's off, crashing his way through the door as Zahra follows suit.

"Sure it does," he calls back having pulled a head, but not by much. Though now they had to do target practice. This race really hated him as he couldn't aim to save his life. Thankfully he didn't have to hit them, only Sabrina. And unlike him she wasn't half blind so with the mix of MAGICAL LEAF on a move so well aimed it could never miss, they were able to complete it quickly. [break][break]

According to the Absol, the course won't run on for much longer! And it's about time, considering how dead inside she was feeling whenever Razz met her request with coldness. Was it really that hard to take it easy and not completely trash her in a race made for literal kids? Well, not for kids... The rangers would probably get heavily sued for any injuries.

She recognises the voice just as an object comes flying at her, her lack of preparation making her fumble with it for a few seconds before she finally grasps it with steady hands and catches a glimpse. A water gun? With what seems to be coloured water as ammunition. Throwing the supervisor an amused smile, Zahra recognises what it means when she's handed such a gift when she's behind.

Catch Kingsman at least 3 times before the race ends.

Steadying herself, she takes a leaping slide over a long hurdle, slowing her breath as she takes her aim and fires a quick shot at Razz's back.

There is a small panic as something hits his back. It didn't hurt but it definitely caught him off guard enough for him to react. For a second it looks like he was about to go something but Sabrina ends up using PSYCHIC on him to stop his trainer from outing himself. "Right," he reminds himself for a moment where he's at, his breath is hard as he levels himself. For the moment he just looks at her with one eye. [break][break]

"Doubt you'll be able to do it again," and with that the final target is hit before he runs off, this time at a quicker pace rather than the jog from before like she wanted.

As Razz begins to speed up, Zahra can only take in a deep breath and sigh. If that's how he wants to play, then so be it.

Her jog goes into a sprint, her agility and balance coming into use as she flawlessly glides over the obstacles. Though Ollie keeps a good pace, it's clear that he's struggling a little when it comes to keeping pace with his trainer. Even if Razz tries to juke her, she's got her sights locked onto him, a steady trigger finger at the ready as she gradually catches up.
