What did Cats and Dogs have to do with a beach?

Well, whatever, Chu-e was here to get more felines for his collection and have a good time. Not to think too hard.

This time, at least, the warden area was a beach-side spa.

He sank into the water, looking out over the waves with an iced juice next to him. His Luxray was stalking around nearby, Clove trying to sniff out anything interesting.

Oh hell yeah, got one on the first try.

Clove sniffed, the Luxray walked over to a snack cart. It looked like a yummy puff of cotton candy...

She glanced around before Crunching down on the treat!

Only to be surprised by it making noise and fainting instantly. She whined and walked to Chu-e, who sighed and rolled his eyes before trying to catch the Swirlix.

Skittering out from where the cotton candy pup used to be comes a Rattata.

"Is that a fucking RAT?" Says Chu-e, except like imagine him saying it in Pilo1's voice.

Man I've really mentioned Pilo1 in a lot of my posts recently. What's up with that?

Anyway, when Chu-e shrieks over the rat, Clove springs into action, Discharging on the rat before it could cause problems.

So Chu-e caught that rat bitch.

This is NOT what we wanted. Which is a shame, cause Furfrou is actually really cute.

The dog, seeing all the violence happening, took a step back from where he had been stepping into the room with a ball. He had wanted to play with his new pal... but thankfully was reconsidering since Clove was still on the prowl.

Chu-e sighed and snuggled down more into his little spa tub.

Hell yeah, another one.

Clove had finally found a snack, laying down on her stomach to half maul the package of peanuts swiped from the snack cart.

She paused when she felt her tail being tugged on.

Looking back, the culprit was... a Shinx. The pokemon perked his ears up and floooed over, unafraid, wanting nothing more than to play with one of his own kind.

Clove laid her ears back and did some Mental Feline Math. Then she used her massive paw to scoop and scoot the Shinx closer to herself, starting to groom him. Stinky little man.

He mewled and whined but was held in place. Much like a mother cat would hold down a kitten. Finally, though, when he realized he wasn't getting out he flopped down and accepted the grooming. He just wasn't happy about it.

Chu-e snorted and prepped a pokeball. This one was coming with him.

Maybe these cats could smell the cat-lover on him, but not long after the Shinx appeared, another cat came out of the woodwork.

A Meowth hopped her butt up on the rim of the tub her was in. She bat delicately in the water.

Chu-e had the strong temptation to push her in. Yet, he also didn't want to be scratched up, so he resisted.

What he couldn't resist, though, was reaching out of the water to give her a few moist scritches on the ears.

She flinched ta the touch, mildly, but when she realized that this human knew just where to touch she leaned into the touch. Before long, she was a purring mess.

"Well, looks like you're coming home with me."

Even if he was out of balls, though, he wasn't leaving just yet. It was almost time for his pedicure.
