She stayed quiet for most of her speech, there was no point in her saying anything. She had already called her mother everything under the sun by this point. However, something did catch her attention that was new. "After what I did to him?" she asked confused. "What do you mean after what I did to him? The strike against Melody's cheek comes suddenly. Del's hand is reeled back and cuts the wind as it traveled. Well practiced, the perfect amount of force is applied to sting and reddened its cheek. The clap from the impact is loud enough to echo around them. [break][break]

"What did I tell you about calling me Madeleine?" she hissed, "My name is meant only for people. You will call me mother and nothing else." [break][break]

All the venom on her face is quick to melt. [break][break]

Scarlet locks swayed from side to side, tongue clicking in disapproval and disbelief. "What did I do?" gently, she rubbed its cheek, "Ooh my precious Melody, it's not what I did, it's what you did." a sickeningly sweet smile peeled Madeleine's lips. [break][break]

"You don't remember because I had to take the memory away. It was too painful." the discomfort in her voice sounds almost genuine. "He found out and threatened to take you away. When he tried, you attacked him. You stabbed him with a butcher's knife in the kitchen." Del's shoulders tensed, her voice wavering as she recalled the events. [break][break]

The gloss of tears covered her eyes as she pulled her hand away from Melody's cheek. "I hadn't been around the time but when I heard the commotion. I found you, hunched over him and stabbing his already dead body." [break][break]

"Remember, Melody." [break][break]
