It’s hard to describe (because Azul doesn’t actually know) but it’s with distress that his Inkay twirls up in the air when a Shinx suddenly pops out of the bushes.
[break][break]
Looks like the electric kitten might have thought the Inkay is some sort of toy with the way it shines and floats through the air, and while some people might think that’s adorable, Mars thinks it’s damn annoying.
[break][break]
”Lethe, just put it to sleep if it bothers you.” His tone is calm, but he clearly doesn’t care for the shenanigans of a silly little cat. There’s only one type of cat he cares about right now.
[break][break]
The Inkay, of course, does as told, as if this hadn’t occurred to him before. With HYPNOSIS the Shinx is put to sleep, and Mars continues on his way to find some Meowth.

Mars almost finds himself thinking that the Electrike is cute, but then the tiny dog starts barking at him in that way tiny dogs always do (read: yapping) and all the charm is immediately gone.

That was Mars’ reaction the first time he saw a Swirlix.

He can get behind food-like pokémon just fine, but some cotton candy dog-thing?

Honestly, Mars doesn’t care much for pokémon that bring existential questions into his life, but he almost does want to pay attention to the Swirlix… if only to see if it will dissolve if he tosses it in the ocean.

Would that be too cruel? Not in his opinion. But, it would be a childish waste of time, so he keeps walking and sets those questions aside.
