“Things going alright back here, Cardamom?” Hideo asked as he began mopping the floor, his Gardevoir helping make sure he didn’t bump into anything - and making sure nobody slipped. “Sounds like my Roserade and Weezing are working now.”

He could recognize the sound (and feeling) of those petals flying about from his Roserade’s Petal Dance, and he could smell the air Hazed by his Weezing.

The great cooking efforts of 2021 continued as the Kids' Club worked around the clock to ensure all clients got their meal!

Doug's Lurantis spread out storms of veggies as several burgers were ordered while his Nidoking furiously pummeled ice cold patties into perfectly medium rare burgers.

His Snom offered everyone great moral support by just being present, though the fact he made everything cooler in the otherwise scorching hot kitchens certainly helped as well.

"WE'RE ALMOST THERE, EVERYONE! CAN YOU FEEL FREEDOM?!"

Mopping up the back wasn’t too difficult. Just a matter of making sure Hideo didn’t get in the way of anyone, but the Pokemon here seemed to be able to work just fine while he went to work. Weird that the Slurpuff chose him to clean, but between him and the kid on crutches, he was probably the best one for the job.

Still, making a blind kid do the cleaning in a place he didn’t know anything about wasn’t the best idea.

His Dedenne provided the Plus, while his Minun provided the Minus, completing a circuit that somehow helped produce a Pachirisu Float.

His cleaning job considered sufficient, the Slurpuff once again came for Hideo, taking the mop away from him and all-but-dragging him back out, his Gardevoir following closely.

Sounded like there were more customers now, so it was back to the main job for Hideo. “One Cheesy Rowlet Pizza coming right up!” Hideo said. A nice big dish for a decently-sized group of people. "And a Playful Pancham Fried Rice for you!"

His Grumpig was in the back, her Teeter Dance helping her as she prepared the dough, spinning it around as she did her chaotic-yet-controlled dance. At the same time, his Pangoro was getting the fried rice ready by...threatening it and leaving the kitchen. But that Parting Shot were definitely helping make the food. Somehow.

The war on the orders continued as Doug weaved his arms wildly, commanding his pokemon to cook, cook, cook with a look of complete concentration on his eyes.

Having somehow managed to fit his Steelix inside the kitchen for the second time that day, he commanded it to flat the dough proper as his charmeleon cooked it.

But as he looked around, he realized that their Rice cooker was down for the count- Pangoro's hard work would be for nothing!

"WE NEED A NEW COOKER-!" He screamed.

Just then, a hole tore through the wall and Eva Morales's Coalossal rolled into the kitchen like the cool aid man, granting the youth instant inspiration.

"THAT'S IT!" He screamed, grasping the rice platters before throwing them inside the Coalossal's furnace! "YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR WAR EFFORTS SHALL BE REWARDED!"

“Doug loves doing this kind of stuff when he gets worked up!” Hideo said, the only explanation he could think to give Andy Blackadder . The destruction was just going to have to be part of the spectacle - and something John Sullivan would have to pay for, because he was the one responsible and was actually earning a paycheck.

He took another order from a table, this one for a rather tasty treat. “Nighttime pancakes coming right up!” Hideo said, before turning to his Gardevoir. “Dancer, time for some Eevee Pancakes. And make them extra fluffy!”

In the kitchen, his Pokemon were at work. The Skrelp and Yanmega he’d borrowed were hard at work flipping those pancakes, the Skrelp Flip Turning them while the Yanmega was U-turning them. But before either could argue over whose technique was right, Hideo’s Lopunny defused the situation with Flattery.

"WE'RE COOKING!" Boomed the youth in response to Andy's question, the words simultaneously screamed with extreme amounts of hype yet carrying the nonchalant energy of stating the sky was blue.

His Illumise assisted Hideo's Lopunny in maintaining peace between pancake flippers in the meanwhile, giving a helping hand.

Meanwhile, a Greedent sneaked into the kitchen through the hole left in the Coalossal's wake, cheeks full of ingredients and berries.

If only there was a way to make them into some sort of flat, delicious confection!

A hole was torn through the roof and a Hawlucha came crashing onto the ingredients the Greedent had set on the cooking counter so it could take a rest, splatting all of the ingredients with the force of a press and transforming them into delicious waffles.

"ORDERS UP!" Doug boomed as the Greedent cried in dismay.
