Mars may never be able to leave Team Rocket, and this is something he has been aware of since before he even joined. It was a dangerous choice to make, but ultimately one that he had to make in order to get what needs to fulfill his goals. A deal with the devil; one that may end up costing him greatly and that he has been careful about from the very first moment.

It was his choice, he will live with it, and he will do everything in his power in order to make sure it never becomes the wrong choice.

Cian though? Cian didn’t get to make that same choice. It was forced upon him, not unlike how Mars’ own family forced him into this terrible world. Ironic, considering the sole reason he joined Team Rocket is in order to finally put an end to the claim the Marzáns have upon him.

So, who is he to tell Cian not to leave? Who is he to tell him to stay? If Cian wants to leave, then he should, because he deserves happiness.
