Warmth from more than just the sauna spreads in Temp's chest. He turns his hand to more properly take Cillian Quinn's, twine their fingers together in a secure knot of connection.

"You know that goes for you, too, right?" There was very little that Gavin could do to run Temp off now. He'd let Temp have a taste and it would be cruelty to take it from him now.

Somehow, this cyber had just ended up in the both of them being cute.

He'd sort of jumped in headfirst with Emma and hadn't really gotten past the starting line with Theo, so Tempest Quinn had the honor of being the first person he'd thought to slow up and discuss boundaries with. Owing almost entirely to his fear of running him off.

"But, I'm glad."

His fingers tighten around Temp's, and he leans in to steal a kiss.

"Guess we just keep it up, then."

A snicker accompanies the words, because Gavin's feeling lightheaded and silly from the heat.

That grin turns cheeky as he sneaks another peck.

Gavin, who at this point has a reputation for being utterly shameless, actually fucking blushes at that. It would be a first, for him, but the flush of heat has nothing to do with the steam, skin tingling under the implication.

Where he'd ordinarily fire back with something witty, Tempest Quinn is greeted with a nervous laugh as Gavin wets his lips.

The spell is momentarily broken by Temp blowing a raspberry, Gavin sputtering in surprise as he reels back with a look of playful reproach, but it returns with a promise that makes his pulse pound.

If Temp is worried about what's going through Gavin's head, he shouldn't be. It's a jumbled mess that roughly translates to: oh no, that's hot.

"Is that a threat?"

Spoken low, almost growled in the tone of Rocket's underboss, but there's a spark in his gaze to betray him.

It does take a moment, but when the beat that Temp expected Gavin to follow (giving him some quick and flirty banter) doesn't come, he pulls back a little to really look at the other.

He is pleasantly surprised by what he thinks he finds there, and it's a shame they're both sweaty messes, because Temp finds he really enjoys the red on Gavin's cheeks.

This is also good news because, while Temp was more than happy with their sex life till now, he had kind of expected to just be a bottom up until now. This gives him hope of more.

In spite of the heat, the promise sends a pleasant shiver through his veins.

Amber eyes blink slow, not unlike a cat showing its trust, as Gavin silently conveys gratitude that Tempest Quinn had pulled back to check on him. It was sweet, made him feel cared for in a way he's still not used to.

Gavin's verbal response is far less sweet.

"Sure you can handle me?" He leans in close, nips at Tempest Quinn's neck with little regard for the tang of sweat. "You know I like to bite."

It's less a warning, more a challenge.

A subtle hint toward expectations once they get out of this damn sauna and can enjoy themselves without passing out from the heat.

Gavin's an aggressive lover, likes to bite and bruise, but so too does he crave the same in return. It's the same rush he gets from a good fight, except this has a few more steps to it and a more satisfying ending.

As always, the touch against the back of his neck makes his brain short out for a second before he regains enough clarity to press his forehead to Tempest Quinn's in the return of a gesture he doesn't entirely understand, only that it's something good.

It makes him feel warm, in a nicer way than the sauna's oppressive heat.

Then he squeezes his grip tighter on Gavin's neck and leans in to sink his teeth against the curve of his shoulder. Deep enough to leave marks, not enough to break skin. For now.

His free hand slides lower, much lower, his breath finally back to give his lover back what he was given.

Even if it was sweaty.

Gavin closes his eyes as the grip tightens on the back of his neck, tilting his head against the touch and baring the curve of his shoulder at the perfect angle for Tempest Quinn to sink in his teeth.

Breath caught is stolen from him in a sharp exhale of air, pain blossoming like a promise as Temp's hand slips low.

Any doubts about his eagerness would surely be put to rest.

He drapes an arm around Temp's shoulder and curls his hand against the expanse of his shoulderblade, nails pressing deep to find purchase. At the peak of pleasure, fingers draw like claws across his lover's back with no regard for broken skin.

After, short of breath, he slides his arm up to pull Temp close.

"Love you," is murmured, because both of them couldn't hear it enough.
