their first encounter is a chimecho, whose UPROAR looks to slow them down. but it does little, not nearly enough to deter them from their course.

a swarm of MAGICAL LEAVES flows past him, narrowly avoiding matias as it cuts into the wild chimecho. it yelps but is stuck in its UPROAR.

sliding under it, matias continues running, not even bothering to look back because he knows virizion is there to finish the job.

their second encounter comes straight at them without much of a warning — its PSYCHO CUT grazing against virizion's skin. she hisses, turning to send swirls of MAGICAL LEAVES towards it.

"CLOSE."

the gallade does their job for them. a TELEPORT takes it right into the forefront but virizion is more than ready to meet it with a LEAF BLADE. it reels back, caught off guard by the pain only to be slashed again with the same LEAF BLADE.

there's no stopping the TELEPORT, but that's fine.
