a wild rattata scurries towards them, keen to sink its SUPER FANGS into virizion only to be smacked away by her SACRED SWORD.

matias watches it propel into the air, spinning for moments before landing with a thud. down and out, it can't possibly resist the pokeball that's thrown at it.

it was at that point that everything else made sense. he just didn't recognize it at first since matias missed the 'fujin' part of yuifujinsilphfernando'ssister at first.

"oh, okay. i know what you mean now."

a smaller form of uzifanty appears. it's immune to ground-type attacks, which was fine since terrakion doesn't have any. it has a move that can make ground-type moves hit it though.

a smack down brings it to the ground, but the rock used was too large that it knocked it out. kyle takes a pokeball to capture it.

"what were we talking about again? is yuifujinsilphfernando'ssister important or is she just another npc?"

maybe she'd hear him from his phone which she'd apparently tapped sometime ago. who knows when exactly, though, as the idea was just brought up today.

a WHIRLWIND whips around them, threatening to end the battle before it even begins. but virizion's special, and so her MAGICAL LEAVES pierce through the air, slicing one of braviary's wings enough to take it to the ground.

a pokeball is thrown after.

they got too off tangent that they started talking about an irrelevant person. that's how you know you got good synergy with another person when you shitpost.

"oh, right. which flavor are we getting again?"

the starmie was just starmie-ing around when the terrakion sees it. it deems it to be looking at it funny that it decides to draw its gun quick and make a move before it does the same to them.

a quick attack results the large pokemon to barrel over the starmie, crashing it to a nearby tree enough to shake it. kyle takes a pokeball to capture the pokemon since they can't have a lot of dead pokemon around the place.

"you're gonna bring some to my home when we plant the apple tree to feed terrakion, right?"

there were like a hundred of normal-types, and getting things of the same species in the same area, at the same instance of them being here, was just unfortunate. it's like some external factor was discriminating against them.

"ice cream and tacos... is this a movie night?"

the starly flies over them and suicide dives to the terrakion. it's uncertain what it has against the pokemon, maybe because the starly is taught of type advantages of flying-types over fighting-types, but little does the little shit know that terrakion's secret secondary rock-typing has something up its sleeve.

it's a rock.

the terrakion is quick to smack down the starly before it can even reach it. the bird falls flat to the ground, unconscious, and gives kyle a chance to capture it to pair up with the starly matias caught earlier.

"it's not netflix and chill time, right?"

kyle starts to think of movies on netflix that might be nice to watch.

a lickilicky shows itself this time. the terrakion has been beating up all the pokemon that wanted to test their mettle with him and wouldn't mind adding one to the count. it taunts it to come and the lickilicky charges in with a rollout.

the terrakion facetanks the entire thing and pushes it back with a sacred sword. it drops down to the ground, struggling to keep up after the hit. kyle throws a pokeball at it to get it down permanently though.

his eyes are drawn away for a moment to the wild linoone, however. it attempts to PLAY ROUGH with virizion only to quickly find out how overpowered the grass-type is. one SACRED SWORD later, and linoone's close to fainting, saved only by a pokeball.

"i forgot."

cars was just a sucky series in general, mostly because the characters are disturbing to look at. he's not even sure how he managed to finish those movies as a kid.

a hypno appears and randomly headbutts the terrakion because it's so quirky. the legend takes it as a challenge and accepts the fight. a quick smack down gets it down to the ground though, which kyle takes as a sign to capture it with a pokeball, which has a white bottom part.

"do you have other movies you want to watch?"
