kachow! that's the only thing he remembers from the first one. that, and something like 'float like a butterfly and sting like a bee', which he's tried to emulate when participating in races.

this was legitimately the third one of the evolutionary line that they encountered. kyle already got a meditite and a medicham, but he supposed another meditite wouldn't be that bad.

a pokeball is ready to be thrown in his hand the moment he sees the small primate charge at his terrakion. it only takes a bump from the large pokemon with its quick attack to knock the air out of the wild pokemon.

"maybe. can you spell that out for me? you know, just to make sure it's the one i watched."

who knows if kyle had watched a bootleg version instead. he most definitely pirated his copy since he didn't really have a premium job back when it premiered before. it's also a waste of money when he can get it for free online.

he throws the ball that's in the shape of a bell at the fainted meditite.

thankfully, they weren't in galar territory. once hoenn falls into ruins, however, that'll be one region to migrate to.

"well, i guess it's fine as long as he cannot hear us from out of nowhere."

kyle looks around for any signs of life besides them. he almost breathes a sigh of relief when he finds none before he turns to matias with a proposition.

"maybe we should stop for now and just meet up again for when you get me an apple tree," he suggests.
