Another day for another hunting attempt for a Voltorb or an Electrode. She doesn't know when her current batch will run out but she will definitely need to add the stock in case of emergency. Sometimes it is funny to see the Voltorb flying stressfully back home trying to serve her as best as they could wishing to not get sacrificed for the stupidest reason - WHich is not beyond what Kano would do. Kano holds her yawn back and decides to stroll around for a bit while there are two voltorbs floating around her - If she remembers correctly, they should be Hajime and Nibanme.

There is a distinct cut in route 118, the mouth of a river meeting the ocean.

Temp doesn't normally hang around too far inland, he was a sea dog after all, but the Gym Leader had come here on a bit of business. Now, he was just idling in the water, flopped on the back of his Sharpedo as they puttered around.

Kano Iyona is on the shore and Temp is friendly. When she is close enough, despite being strangers, he gives a huge smile and raises his arm to wave her down.

"Hey! Like, you looking for pokemon, too?" He is excited like a puppy, hoping to fill the time with a little company and maybe make a new friend. Temp was over eager like that.

A man greets her excitedly - Kano spares a glance at him and saw a man is approaching them. She doesn't really bother to answer the question that he poses since her cannon fodder of choice suddenly appears. Her eyes sparkle like a kid saw a candy, 'another bomb for me to use' Kano thought to herself. "Hajime, SONIC BOOM! Nibanme, follow it with ELECTRO BALL!" Kano shouts an order as they start to use their move to the wild Electrode that wasn't paying attention. Explosive sounds can be heard, pushing dust everywhere. Once the dust settles, Electrode is on the ground, really weak after the hit. With a smile, Kano throws Pokeball at Electrode then looks at the man since her mood got better.

"What are you saying again?" Kano asks with a half-assed smile.

It seems like the woman gets too distracted to answer him, but that's okay. Temp gets it. Plus, he's got his own new friend to worry about, a Staryu surfacing in the water next to him.

Unlike Kano Iyona, he doesn't battle, too chill, and instead takes a moment to carefully reach a hand out and scratch the pokemon like he knows they life. Soon enough the Stayru is putty in Temp's hand, it's crystal glowing softly, and he's able to coax it into a pokeball.

"I just asked if you were looking for pokemon!" He calls, swimming closer so he can pull himself up onto the shore.

"We could totally, like, look together!"
