Being police, Tara doesn't necessarily restrict working in one area only. While that is true for many occasions to prohibit stepping over their jurisdiction - It is another matter if the other department calls for help from another department. With how Mauville City is just right on the north of Slateport city, Tara is being sent to the place to assist on a case of a sudden rock slide at route 111 which blocks the majority of the route - Especially cutting Lavaridge Town to other places due to how the phenomenon happened in a way that it blocks the route to Lavaridge Town. Mauville PD has hired several volunteers on the top of Slateport police reinforcement.

Once Tara arrived, she could only whistle in surprise looking at the condition. The place is a mess and the report says that there might be some civilian stuck somewhere from the rock slide. She could see some volunteers with their pokemon sweeping the rock away so now Tara needs to keep it up with them and call out for her Garchomp. "Okay, let's do this work shall we eh Chomper?" Tara rolls up her sleeve and lift up the nearby rocks while Garchomp destroys a bigger boulder with DRAGON CLAW.

Damkina's training in a canyon clearing nearby had been interrupted by the destructive clamor of a massive rockslide. His interest piqued, Remiel hopped onto the Garchomp's saddle and flew her over the ridge to investigate. What he found was the sleepy, small village of HELMFIRTH— buried beneath mounds of rock.[break][break]

Panicked and shell-shocked alike civilians wandered around ground zero, the former crying for help or rescue while the latter simply stared about, coated in rock dust and rubble. Those who hadn't been injured or effected all that badly by the rockslide were quick to assume roles as volunteers, doing their best to provide as much aid until the League sent properly trained police officers and firefighters.[break][break]

Remiel, in the meantime, narrowed his eyes on the source of the rockslide: the cliff overlooking Helmfirth. It hadn't shown any signs of crumbling before... and that was highly suspicious. Regardless, he swooped down on Damkina before long and began to assist the villagers himself. Having undug several villagers by the time the League's own arrived, he was in the thick of the disaster when another Garchomp destroyed a large rock to find them standing there.[break][break]

Smeared in rock dust that dirtied his blue dress shirt and black pants, the royal turned to acknowledge the woman that stood there with her dragon. Damkina, in the meantime, huffed as she narrowed her eyes on the other Garchomp. "Are you the cavalry?"[break][break]

The boulder that is destroyed by Chomper revealed a man with another Garchomp with him, dirtying their body with dust from the boulder no less. "Sorry, sorry... Wasn't expecting that there would be someone on the other end" Tara apologize, waving her hand in front of her face. Then, Tara starts to inspect the face of the man - His face looks familiar like she has seen him on the list of VIP people in Hoenn or something back in the office but she can't recall. "I am not entirely sure about cavalry, but I am with the Slateport PD. Here to give a hand to handle the situation." Tara introduces herself with a salute, "I am officer Tara, nice to meet you. We should move fast since the longer we dawdle, the riskier for people who might trap. Be careful of any wild pokemon and if you see something amiss please report it to any officer around here. We still investigating the reason behind the rockslide" Tara informs, Chomper to perform DIG to dig out a figure that sticks out from the ground, and turns out it is just a mannequin.

A police officer? Remiel nearly salutes back, but remembers he's not in Galar anymore paying respect to the Queen's Guard. Here in Hoenn, he didn't have any kind of power or ranking above its law enforcement... at least, not on the surface. Not as Remiel Calcifet, ambassador.[break][break]

"It's quite alright. I don't know what you've been told, but I know for certain there are more civilians trapped beneath the rubble somewhere around here. My Garchomp detected it with her sensors. Yours might as well." The sensors being, of course, the protuberances on every Garchomp's head that allowed it to track prey. Or, in this case, people needing to be rescued.[break][break]

Just as Remiel speaks to offer his own insight into the cause of the rockslide, a voice calls out in alarm nearby: "Heads up! Rampaging Pokémon!" A man warns, preceding the appearance of a charging Lairon that bulldozes its way through rubble (IRON HEAD) and towards the pair.[break][break]

"Damkina, Dual Chop." Remiel calmly commands, watching as his draconic companion leaps forward and strikes the steel beast down with her scythe-like appendages (DUAL CHOP). It groans as it struggles to get back up on four feet, but its struggle comes to an end when Remiel produces a luxury ball and tosses it, capturing the Lairon in a flash of light.[break][break]

A sudden realization appears to her mind alongside the wild pokemon appears that might threaten their safety, `Shit, I can't let the ambassador got hurt while he was here. It can bring a problem' Tara thought to herself cursing making her move a bit slower. Thankfully,
Remiel is more than capable to protect himself. "Another one!" A man warns them again as a wild Infernape is charging at them while cloaked with fire (FLARE BLITZ). "Sir Remiel steps back. Let me handle this." Tara take a step forward [break][break]

"Chomper, shows him the real rush! DRAGON RUSH" Tara order her Garchomp, as her pokemon starts to generate energy and form to a dragon shape while rushing at the charging Infernape. An explosion happens that push Garchomp and Infernape back, "Chomper, use DRAGON BREATH!" Garchomp follows up with a flame breath and hits Infernape which makes him escape in pain. Tara turns back and looks at Remiel - "Are you all right?" [break][break]

Chomper stares at her for a moment and returns to breaking rocks trying to keep working on saving people.

Remiel does as he is told by the police officer after he picks up the trembling ball with the Lairon inside it. Stepping towards the sidelines and clearing the way, he watches as her Garchomp fights back an angered Infernape that enters the scene. Damkina, herself, doesn't bother to pause from her search and rescue as it happens. Though she does give the other Garchomp a glance before huffing.[break][break]

"Yes, I'm fine," The royal answers, looking down at the luxury ball in his hands as it stops shaking. It seemed he had another pseudo-dragon for his draciary. But that wasn't what he was here for. The people buried beneath the rubble of the village took priority. Pointing towards a collapsed apartment building with his free hand, while the other clips the new capture to his belt, he continues.[break][break]

"Damkina and I have cleared every building from the schoolhouse to the end of the block. We've yet to search that apartment complex in depth, however. Think you can cover the west wing while I cover the east?" He inquiries, already prompting his own Garchomp into action there with a whistle.[break][break]

Listening to the report that Remiel makes, Tara looks around to familiarize herself with the surroundings. She could see the apartment complex from their current place and it is indeed too big for a single person to cover. "Gotcha, if you found anything - Either good or bad - call me. I will lend you a Bluetooth that is connected directly to mine so we can keep communicating" Tara gives a handsfree Bluetooth that has been set to connect to the device that rests on her ears currently. "Be careful" Tara said once again before walking to the west side. [break][break]

Looking at the apartment complex, Tara could see that some parts are already not in the best condition. Tara is unsure if entering with Chomper alongside her will be okay or not so for now she put the Garchomp back to her Pokeball and switches her with a smaller and lighter pokemon, ~~Wailord~~ Meowstic.

Tiptoeing her way in while minding her steps, Tara looks around while Nyaonix is leaping everywhere with a light step observing the small crevice in advance. Suddenly, Nyaonix cries calling for her trainer signaling that she founds something. Tara hurried her steps a bit and take a peek, the crevice is too small so it is hard for her to see but she vaguely sees something like an arm from the edge of a pile of rubbles. Nyaonix tries to squeeze herself in but sadly she can't, which means they need to do physical work. Tara stomps the ground carefully and determined that Chomper should be okay there and she calls Chomper for help. [break][break]

"Chomper, clear the way out," Tara asks and got answered by a roar as she is start to dig through the crevice and find themselves in the room with many broken sewing machines and some threads scattered everywhere. However, that is not important for now as Tara approaches the arm that they see and when she tries to lift it - It suddenly got cut off from, the rest. With the timing where Remiel calls for her - Tara screams in surprise holding a dismembered arm. A moment later, then she realized that the arm is not a human arm but a mannequin's instead. Tara let out a sigh of relief, "Sorry about the scream. False alarm, I thought I got a human dismembered arm but it was actually just a mannequin" Tara apologized. "There is nothing significant yet from my position yet. I will go further to check"
