Mars is not the type of person who would often find himself walking among rocks and ancient stones, and yet, Meteor Falls is a place he has visited more than a few times as of late.

Last time he had been here, he had started off at the very top of the falls, where tourists so very rarely go. Now, he’s within the cavern once again, although perhaps not at the most frequented spot of all.

In the water nearby drifts a Starmie of a beautiful soft blue, and for a moment, Mars watches it, all before his attention returns to their surroundings.

What appears floating out of a nearby cluster of rocks is no Unown but a Baltoy, and Mars can’t help but sigh when seeing it.

Of course it wouldn’t be that easy.

Of course an Unown wouldn’t just appear only a few minutes after stepping into the cavern.

Especially not with how awful his luck has been when it comes to searching for Unown in the wild.

There’s nothing wrong with a Chimecho.

They’re adorable, small, sweet, Psychic type, and they make little noises when they move around. What’s not to love? A perfectly cute pokémon, and yet…

Another sigh leaves Mars when seeing the Wind Chime Pokémon, and for a moment, he just watches it wander around.

Once it’s out of sight, he moves on, heading for a more remote spot. In the water, his Starmie follows.

Or at least that’s the way it looks to Mars after a couple of hours of walking around in the cavern, for he finds nothing but the familiar sight of the mist of a Musharna...

Just as he gets a call too.

After taking it, he decides to follow the pink mist, signaling his Starmie to PARALYZE the Drowsing Pokémon with a THUNDER WAVE before a Luxury Ball is thrown at it.
