Since the Groudon incident Killian's been meaning to take a look around Mount Chimney. Maybe he'd uncover something others missed.

Regardless, this was a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. MATIAS SILPH asked him to find info and Killian had. Hopefully being back on Mount Chimney wouldn't trigger anything painful for the E4 member.

Killian waited for him to arrive beside his Naganadel. The Ultra Beast tensed at the heat from the mountain.

just like the groudon incident, matias shows up to mount chimney atop his charizard, landing close enough to ian and his naganadel.

"It needs to know a special move in order to evolve."

Kubfu and Naganadel were similar in that regard. Granted, Killian ended up needing more than Dragon Pulse to push his Poipole into evolution.

He returned his attention to Matias.

"There's a bit more." replied Killian with a shrug. "Technically, it's not one special move but two. Kubfu has branching evolutions depending." Killian threw a single punch at the air. "Single Strike Style - " He paused and gave his imaginary foe the ol' one, two punch.

"And Rapid Strike Style."

Falling back into a more casual stance, the Rocket admin slipped his hands back into his pocket.

"Wicked Blow will see it evolve into Single Strike and Surging Strikes evolves it into Rapid Strike."

"Which move it learns depends on how you train it."

it won't be the kubfu battling, unfortunately, as the size difference alone makes it more challenging than it needs to be. fighting in kubfu's place will be the charizard.

Shame, he'd thought a battle against an Ultra Beast would do wonders to help it grow. Charizard's a worthy opponent. Fire-types were one of Naganadel's favorite meals, anyway. Their blood had a spice to it that Bloodborne couldn't get enough of.[break][break]
