[attr="class","illie i"]he's right. it is a hard concept for her to grasp but it doesn't gain life from unwillingness to fight or the sense that the world is rainbows and sunshine. she knows, perhaps a little too well, that life is hard and unfair and bloody. her back crawls at the idea of it all.

and the bottom line is a simple thing: she doesn't fight not because she doesn't want to but merely because she's weak.

the idea that she's pathetic and fragile has always had a chokehold on her. it persists even now, with his words echoing in her ears.

"no one expects to frolic through rainbows." least of all her.

a misdreavus floats over as she speaks and she's gentle with her beckoning touch. the ghost plays with her outstretched arm, floating up and over then down under and repeating the motion with soft giggles.

"do you think a life like yours is not a shared fate?" she mumbles the question, uncertain where she's taking the conversation but knowing it doesn't matter in the end.
