It seems it must've fallen from it's tree, and decided it'd be too much effort to climb back up. Thankfully the two of them didn't wake it, allowing both parties to continue their night uninterrupted...

[attr=class,bulk][break]Tonight's mystery gift came in the form of a wild Braviary stalking from above, swooping down in order to try and nab the Slakoth they left behind. It probably thought about having a try at Derek's pokemon, though figured the one slumbering would make for an easier meal.

A rogue water gun would come crashing into the back of the Braviary's skull, causing it go barreling head first into a tree. Slumping down to the ground, hands familiar with the motion were quick to pluck a pokeball and toss it in order to catch the avian. A few moments were all they needed to confirm the catch with a little ding!

"Nice one, Jonesy." A quick high five was offered to his pokemon as the two moved to collect the device and head on home. The Slakoth opened it's eyes to see them off, the attempt on it's life going completely unnoticed. What a silly creature.
