Always one to go the extra mile, Luka's entire ensemble oozes holiday cheer. A santa hat is perched jauntily on her own head, bright sprigs of holly pinned to the furry brim. It matches her fluffy red coat and the dress underneath, knit thigh-highs peeking out from over-the-knee boots.[break][break]

"I'm, um, so glad to see you too," she says, her freckled nose pink with cold. "Thank you for the invitation! I probably would have missed this otherwise." Her excitement is palpable, eyes gleaming like a schoolgirl's as she looks 'round at the various stalls.[break][break]

"Gosh, there's so much to see! Erm...oh! But you should get first pick. What would you like to do?"

her outfit is adorable. he only wishes he had one to match, seeing how his santa hat seems to pale in comparison. no matter! he'll just have to buy an outfit from one of the stalls later.[break][break]

so, he reaches for her hand, then tugs her to one of the stalls. surprisingly, they have a santa-esque coat that's large enough for him. he shrugs it on, then turns to look at her.[break][break]

Luka squeaks when he grabs her hand and tugs her forwards, but follows obediently enough. She waits near the stall as Niko browses for a coat and while she's a bit surprised by this turn of events, certainly doesn't dislike it.[break][break]

"Hmm..." She takes a moment to inspect the garment, circling Niko like a vulture. It's important to check the fit from every angle, obviously. "It suits you," she finally declares, reaching out to smooth down the collar. "Yeah, it looks nice!"[break][break]

And a long mile more festive than just the hat. "And now we match," Luka asserts with a grin, clearly pleased with this turn of events. "It's cute!"

not sure why he feels just the slightest bit nervous when she starts circling him. maybe it's because it takes her a while to give him her approval. or maybe he's not used to being observed like that. either way, when her approval comes, he breaks into a smile.[break][break]

Maybe the sentiment is empty, maybe not. Either way it makes Luka rather giddy to hear, flooding her cheeks with a happy flush. The sentiment that they're a pair now draws her to him, and she loops her arm through his as they continue to browse through the stall.[break][break]

A few items do catch her eye. Fluffy skirts, ribbons and frills, a little santa outfit trimmed in fur. But when she follows his eye, she catches Niko looking at the more risque options. The color in her face deepens.[break][break]

"Umm...I like that one," she says, pointing to the santa dress. "B-but if you want to pick something too, I could try it..."

Luka eyes the costume Niko picked with some trepidation, but doesn't complain as she follows him. Despite popular belief, Fish just draws her in stuff like that because she's a useless bisexual, and Luka doesn't really wear things like that very often. But her intrinsic need to please overrides any possible objection.[break][break]

"Thanks! Give me a minute, okay?"[break][break]

Except one turns into two, then three. From the other side of the changing room door, a frustrated sigh can be heard. Luka finally opens the door, looking rather defeated in the dress she'd picked out.[break][break]

It's cute— bright red that works well with her hair, and a short skirt that bounces against her thighs with every step. But the bodice is far too small. Her bust looks ready to pop out of that sweetheart neckline at any moment.[break][break]

"This, uh..." she sighs again. "It happens...sometimes."

Doing so barely works, and lifts the fluffy little skirt up a little too far. Red lace peeks through, and she flushes and hurriedly pushes it back down.[break][break]

Luka tries to fiddle with the top again, to no avail. She nods, defeated. "Bigger...yeah. Can you grab one for me?"[break][break]

In the interim, she decides to try on the outfit that he'd picked out. Though truly, that word is a stretch. Even though this one fits properly, it's far more revealing than the dress she'd just tried on.[break][break]

When Niko returns, she only sticks her head out through the dressing room door. "Ah...d-did you get it? Thanks..."

"Ah—" She tries to twist her body further behind the door, craning her neck at an uncomfortable angle. It really isn't much of a dress. Lace clings to every curve, wide knit and almost completely see-through.[break][break]

"I mean, um, it is, but...I don't think it really flatters me!" she squeaks out. This is silly— there's no reason that she should be so modest around him. But it clings to her anyways, a shroud of self-doubt that is not easily sloughed off.
