The amount of surprise in her voice is almost heartbreaking. "I mean, I'm glad I did too! It's not like I would've said no. I thought— I mean, it was nice to hear from you again." Her smile is shyly pleased, hands tucked behind her back. She'd be quite the demure maiden were it not for the outfit.[break][break]

The double entendre is so painfully obvious that even she can pick up on it. It paints the apples of her cheeks peony pink- she’d never been much of a flirt, but oh god is it fun. [break][break]

“Ehe…I’m a bit out of practice now, though. Maybe you can help me out later?”[break][break]

She peeks over a bare shoulder at him, her eyes wide and almost innocent. But there’s a coy sparkle in them, one reflected in the curl of pomegranate lips. [break][break]

“Yeah, we should! I’d really like that…”[break][break]

She means it in earnest, but life never works out quite so kindly. The moments shared between the two might fade into memory eventually, but for now she’s happy to live in them, relishing in an almost divine sweetness.
