"my family's estate is there. it's also where i grew up."

ana soon joins her on the couch by the window, bringing with her two glasses of alcohol; whatever summer prefers.

"you are more than welcome to visit if you're ever in the area."

Rustboro. A place that Summer knew all too well from the business aspects of life but not so much from personal experiences. She couldn't count on her hands the number of visits she had paid for her father there as a representative of his liaison.

And a money launderer. There were so many companies that were run under her father's business that were truly illegally making money.

"You sound a lot like me. However, I'm from Mauville City. Perhaps, instead of condo or penthouse, I'll come stop by next time I'm in the area."

She took the glass, her free hand draping over Ana's shoulders as her fingers danced over her skin delicately.

"I'm there often enough."

leaning into summer's touch, ana muses as she sips her wine.

"tell me more about mauville. i feel as though i haven't truly appreciated the city."

her memories of the city are vague at best. it's not somewhere she'd venture to often. it was always alex who tagged along with their father. always alex who was expected to carry the family legacy.

not that she minded. not anymore.

Mauville... how did Summer describe it without revealing her true feelings and her father's intentions and doings in the past?

"I feel like Mauville isn't the place for everyone. It's indoors, of course, and it feels like it could be a trap for certain individuals," she spoke, looking at her glass intently before sipping it.

"But it's very Kalosian-inspired. I'd say a lot of my upbringing was influenced by Kalos since I was raised in Mauville. I know the language, the food, the culture... all of it very well."

Summer sipped her drink and smiled as she looked to Ana.

"A romantic place, I suppose some people would call it. It depends on the perspective."

"hm. i've never thought about it in that light."

to her, mauville seems to be an indoor metropolitan as though such a concept makes sense (it somehow does). busy, dense, crowded. perhaps she'll need to look at it in a different light.

"romantic. maybe it'd be better to experience it with someone."

"Experience with someone, hmm?"

Summer contemplated Ana's statement, sipping from her glass. She then set it down on the table in front of her, allowing a smile to crawl on her lips.

"Perhaps you're right. The reason I don't appreciate the city is because I live there, alone, not counting my family. So... why don't you make the experience all the more exciting with me?"

She leaned closer, her fingers that had been resting on Ana's shoulder coming to gently touch her cheek.

gently, she leans into summer's touch, feigning a level of bashfulness that seems unbecoming of her.

"perhaps i will."

Summer laughed, low yet light, as she heard their banter come to an end. But she was more than okay with that. With her hand that touched Ana's cheek, she turned her head closer so that she could lean in, close enough that their lips barely touched as she spoke.

"Anything for you, my princess," she spoke softly before closing any remaining gaps.

Mauville and Rustboro could wait. Tonight, Summer would explore ANA STONE.
