This year is going to be different than any other year when Nia told her parents that she wants to do something else to celebrate the holiday, something that doesn't involve her parent - All she got from them is support and an announcement that they going to go to a honeymoon since they won't be at home. Nia sometimes amuses how they are still in love with each other after all the years they have married. Nia can only smile and hope for the future for her to find someone like her parent.
Nia finished sending a letter to all the gym leader that is under the Minor League. As someone who just joined the league recently, Nia wants to get to know them better by hosting the holiday feast party at the quaint pub that is not too far from her own gym at Dewford. Nia is a regular there despite the drink and food there is not the best but also not the worst, mediocre at best - Nia loves the atmosphere that they offered. A traditional style pub with a minimalistic decoration spread all across the building and more importantly there is a small library section within the pub as the owner loves to read. "Hey, Owner! Hope you don't forget about my reservation for tonight, eh?" Nia enters the place, calling the owner who is currently wiping her glasses. "How many times did I tell you that this is not a restaurant, Nia? We don't accept reservations" The owner grumbles while proceeding to prepare a spot that Nia has asked her way back. "Oh come on, I do lend you that novel which you have been looking for, right? And it is not like this place is that flourishing" Nia teases the owner and she clicks her tongue... "Bah, whatever. Your place is on that corner near the window. Don't harass the part-timer, okay? Hard to find them at this time around" The owner points at a place that has been decorated with the winter theme and it nears the window where they can see outside easily. That spot is easily the best spot within this pub. "You are the greatest, Mina" Nia praises the owner and she just waves her hand dismissing her.
Nia sits down and waits for the other leader to come while she spends her time waiting by reading a book about a vicious Wailord called Moby Dick. The place hasn't fully opened yet so there is no other visitor yet besides her and the other would arrive at the place right before the opening time.
