the clown-looking pokemon, one you recognize from Katherine Fairburne's own blacephalon, coos in delight at the turn of events. it's attack shatters against the doll and, an act that has the ultra beast cocking its head in surprise. it turns just in time to see the stallion's FLAME CHARGE barreling right towards it.

both of its tear drop shaped appendages reach out and grasp the cream colored fur of the attacking rapidash around its long nose. flames lick at it, but it hardly gives it the time of day. instead a powerful pulse of psychic energy surges forth, a deeply rooted compulsion to sleep, as the HYPNOSIS settles in the back of the horses mind.

matias, blinking back to reality, taps at the stone in his arm once more.

an INFERNO of flame, hot enough to melt steel, washes over the blacephalon. it's laugher, once tickled pink, turns to screams of rage and pain. even then the sounds are less animalistic, and more a mix and mash of noises. the sound of a car crashing, the echo of a golf putt, and even the buzzing of a chainsaw.

smoke rises from its form, chest bouncing with the increased effort of breathing. it gains one last look at the empowered fire-type, before opening an ULTRA PORTAL, and disappearing inside.

on the other end of the field the other ultra beast roars in combat, his opponent still unseen. a glistening arc of energy takes it from the hip to shoulder, and it cries in pain. in seconds, it too disappears.

left now alone, a four-legged canine of cobalt fur turns its attention to you. after a moment, it nods, then leaps off, bound for the growing vortex in the center of the city.

turning to face it, matias watches as a bright light drops from it's apex, exploding into a FLARE.

reaching the highest peaks of the building, you stand below the funneling storm as it arcs out with red lightning. the air feels heavier here, somehow, as if gravity has doubled, as the PRESSURE of the vast vortex, and what lingers inside, weighs down upon you.

matias has no idea what it is nor what its capabilities are so consider his surprise when it MOONBLASTS the thing above.
