It had taken many months of distractions before Stormy finally made it back to Mt. Chimney with her Camerupt. The beast had been homesick and lost in Rusturf tunnel all those moons ago. She had caught her and vowed to bring her back here.[break][break]

The pair stood outside now, and the Camerupt continued to bellow and puff smoke from her back in delight. There was a Charmeleon not too far away, practicing her SLASH attacks against the rough stones. [break][break]

Not too far away from even them, Blissey sat happily watching Charmeleon train and Camerupt enjoy the scenery. Rapidash and Castform stood not too far away from Stormy, acting as protectors. She still had her crutch from her run-in with danger in the Dahlia rescue mission, and therefore could not get far without tiring.[break][break]

"Charmeleon, why don't you and Chandelure spar against each other for a bit?"[break][break]

The two fire-types seem overjoyed at this opportunity and immediately begin to circle one another. [break][break]

It wasn’t like he was working. It wasn’t like he had purposefully sought out anyone while looking for a whole lot of nothing with his leopard Juno at his side.

But when he came upon the girl on the path with her pokemon, Hades folded his arms and leaned against one of the sparse trees that decorated the path. Juno flexed her claws, eyes fixed on the stranger’s pokemon as her tail lashed back and forth. Hades, with a grin fixed surely on his face, felt the exact same way.

”Hey there,” he drawled, just loud enough for the girl to hear. ”That’s a strong looking charmeleon you’ve got, huh?” His eyes flickered right over the chandelure-it definitely wasn’t as much of an interest to him as the charmeleon. ”Care to battle? Juno here is itching for some entertainment.”

Stormy startles at the sound of a stranger. She really had thought she was alone, and her Pokemon also hadn't picked up on any newcomers. [break][break]

The woman turns to face this white-haired man. He seems cool and collected, but his eyes are trained on her Charmeleon. The little lizard steps away from Chandelure, her eyes heated. She's warmed up from her sparring and ready for action.[break][break]

She follows Hades' frame down to the Liepard by his side. The feline's claws flex into the dirt. Charmeleon grumbles in response, looking up at Stormy for orders.[break][break]

"Isn't it a little creepy to sneak up on someone like that and 'itch for some entertainment?' You really are bold."[break][break]

Stormy gives a subtle jerk though, encouraging Charmeleon to step forward. Chandelure fell in behind Stormy, Blissey taking up her left side. Rapidash and Camerupt are a short distance away, minding their own business. [break][break]

”Is it?” he tipped his head to the side, as if the thought had never occurred to him. Reaching up, the rocket member ran a hand through his long hair. ”Sorry about that, for scaring you and all. Didn’t mean to bother someone or set off your insecurities about being snuck up on.” his grin widened and he shrugged.

”If you don’t want to, that’s cool. I can look for some strong pokemon for Juno to sharpen her claws on.” It was an obvious jibe at her, and his eyes glittered as he watched the charmeleon saunter forward.

”Oh-looks like your charmeleon wants to try for a piece of Juno, huh?” he tapped his liepard with his boot and she strolled forward, crouching in front of the charmeleon. ”Though I’m sure she wouldn’t be able to take all of your pokemon on-and it looks like they’re a little unhappy with me, huh?”

grinning still, Hades reached for another poke ball, releasing his absol, typhon, from its poke ball. The much-less-friendly pokemon snarled at the chandelure aggressively.

”Start out nice, please, Juno? Why not show it your night slash.” He barely needed to say a word-already his pokemon was lunging forward, claws extended and going for the charmeleon’s throat.

Hades' words are met with a narrowed-eyed glare. He's cocky, that much is obvious. He's overly confident, puffing out his chest and crossing his arms. He's trying to egg her on, coax her into a battle. [break][break]

But that's okay.[break][break]

Stormy has grown, and she knows a thing or two about Charmeleon's fighting-style. She's strong, and they can handle anything.[break][break]

"Maybe in your part of the world, sneaking up on people isn't insulting. Hate to break it you, pal, but no one likes to be startled."[break][break]

Charmeleon looked down at the Liepard as she crouched a couple feet in front of her. The lizard yawned, showing a magnificent set of sharp pearly-whites. She flexes her own claws, and the flame on her tail burns even brighter. She's ready.[break][break]

"People who sneak around are usually bad news - they seem to think you're it."[break][break]

Stormy shrugs her shoulders, as if feigning disinterest. Charmeleon lashes her tail to the side just as Hades orders his Liepard to attack. The feline's claws are black and ghastly, as if tainted with some sort of evil.[break][break]

"You got this, girl."[break][break]

Those are her only instruction, but it sends a surge of confidence in the Charmeleon. Just as the Liepard leaps, Charmeleon lets out a nasty roar, her eyes magnifying and a veil of horror acting as a barrier between the two. [break][break]

She finishes her SCARY FACE with an intense vortex of flame. She breathes fire and spins it around herself like a shield. Should the Liepard have stumbled due to fear, it may have been caught in the FIRE SPIN. [break][break]

Regardless, Charmeleon pivots out of the way of the claws. They glance across her shoulder, but have missed her throat. Smoke spills from her nostrils as she turns to face Liepard again.[break][break]

His liepard wasn’t impressed. Juno’s claws glanced off of the fire-type’s shoulder and she spat angrily, landing on all four paws and pulling away from the fire spin that smarted against her fur.

Hades whistled, causing Juno to look at him curiously, and jerked his head towards his opponent. Hades had no need-or intention-for a real, fair battle when his opponent was someone he could so easily intimidate-at the very least.

Juno nodded, turning and lunging for the charmeleon once more, using PLAY ROUGH as she did. However, before the attack could connect, Juno shot forward-and-past the charmeleon, Hades’ absol lunging forward to stand in her place as the liepard tackled the charmeleon’s trainer-hard, and spat as her claws found flesh.

”Oh-my bad. Juno’s always getting confused,” Hades called, not looking a bit perturbed as his absol advanced on the pokemon in front of him.

Charmeleon is prepared for Juno to retaliate. What she wasn't prepared for was the cat to jump clean past her. There's no intention for the Liepard to continue battling her, she sees that a moment before she changes direction.[break][break]

Stormy gasps in surprise, stumbling backwards. She lands painfully on her injured leg. The bandage seems to tighten around her gash, a thin line of blood seeps through the white.[break][break]

She looks down at it for an instant, panic swelling in her chest. Liepard is now on top of her though, sinking her claws into her shirt and skin. She screams, mostly in pain.[break][break]

Blood is pulsing in her ears, blocking out the sounds of Hades. Charmeleon is in a rage, desperate to reach her trainer before it's too late. The Pokemon begins to glow, wings sprout from her back and she grows, doubles in size.[break][break]

With an intense roar, she pushes off the ground and attempts to land a FIRE FANG on the Liepard in order to remove her from Stormy. Flames lick between her teeth as she plans to sink them deep in the Liepard's tail or back or whatever she can reach.[break][break]

Chandelure also manages to collect herself. Her surprise cost her precious moments where she could have stopped the Liepard in midair. But she is awake now and using PSYCHIC to remove the Liepard from Stormy. [break][break]

"Who are you?"[break][break]

Stormy gasps as she says this, fumbling for her crutch. It's probably high time she leave, no one just attacks another person unless they're bad news.[break][break]

She's too stunned to even really realise that Charmeleon has evolved.[break][break]
