"As long as you like what you're singing, it's great!" An audience, planned or unplanned, didn't hurt. He could enjoy it either way.

He could feel a tinge of satisfaction that his guess had been correct. "That's a pretty cool job to have!" he exclaimed. "I've had some people suggest I get into singing as a career too, though I don't feel it's right for me." It was one of the many ways his parents tried to divert him from being a trainer.

It did explain why she wasn't singing along though; someone on break probably didn't want to indulge in their profession recreationally.

Hideo's two Pokemon finished their song, the small audience of wild Pokemon by the bench applauding their performance. Including a Sneasel that came by, her well-honed claws distinctly clacking with each clap.

But before they could think of a new song to sing, Hideo's phone buzzed - he'd received a message. He took his phone out, tapping at it quickly, the message read out loud by a text-to-speech program.

SOS VINES FOUND THE CHOCOLATE

"Oh." Hideo's joyful expression didn't change, but his Toxtricity and Audino shared a horrified look. "I should probably get to that." He hopped off the bench, his two Pokemon following suit. "It was nice talking to you! Maybe after your break, I can get a chance to listen to you sing!"

And with that, he was on his way along the route, his Pokemon following along.

Though he quickly noticed there was a small horde following him along too. No doubt the wild Pokemon that had listened to his performance. "You guys want to come along too?" he asked, answered with a variety of happy cries. "Alright. I think I got enough spare Pokeballs for everyone."

Chances were he might need their help with this one.

“Well, as a career, singing isn’t really like this to begin with,” she replied, scratching her cheek once more. Honestly, it was one of the reasons why she was drawing her journey out further and further. That way, she could only sing when she wanted and what she wanted – not having to throw herself into grueling training and repetition. That last part was probably the biggest matter. Repetition just made things blander. It could not be helped. But then again, all careers were about that. Working simply meant having to do the same thing, in a way, over and over. It probably was still best to pick something one liked for a career anyway.

Lost in her thoughts, she was briefly confused when she heard an artificial voice. Only on second glance did she realize that it was the other’s phone. And on third glance, she realized why that was. It briefly caused her to blush in embarrassment, but she decided not to make a big deal of it. And why would she? This was not too big an issue. The boy certainly was fine with it, too. “Well, you might hear me on the radio, if all things go well,” she noted with a chuckle. Primarina too, was happy now, clapping joyously at a recently downed Scizor nearby. The last one put to sleep by their triet, he too was resting about now, its name being drawled out into snarls all the time. Scizor was a rather good name to combine with the good old Zzzzzs.

She tossed another ball at it while the boy was sorting out his entourage from soon-to-be-balled Pokemon. “Have fun with the chocolate, stranger~” Eve added, laughing, before turning towards her original direction, deciding to just take this experience as was and commit it to memory. That was one of the goals of this journey, after all.
