Giona at this point has had a lot going on... Just as a matter of trying to ensure the safety of his Luxray, he is gifting it to , who already owns a Luxio.

Enclosed is a note in comically bad handwriting: "Hey! I know you have that Luxio... I even met it a while ago. I figured I would give you my Luxray, just to give Cacio more chances to socialize. I'm the youngest of three kids... having a role model did wonders for my mental health. Thanks again, Giona."

The gift from came as a surprise, and perhaps even considered to be either a late Christmas gift, or even an early birthday gift. Mint found the coincidence funny, but didn't dare bring it up. After a solid 10 minutes of deciphering the notes, he called out to Caccio to come listen to it. The Luxray gave a little huff but nonetheless nudged at him, somewhat curious to the new cat joining them. Mint, for his part, made a small note to send a thank you card.
