As requested 'Ashton' comes when Theo calls him. Thankfull it was the holiday and it wasn't like he was doing anything anyways. Thought it felt a bit weird to be in the other's 'home.' For a bit he wonders if this was his legit house or if he was sitting in on someone who vacated. For now he arrives, glasses this time to add to the different look his Zorua gave him. The Fox hung on his shoulders to keep near him and keep up the illusion, Razz not really caring that the hair went from blue to pink. Seems like the sort of wild colors 'ashton' would do anyways. He looks around the living room seemingly confused about the fact that there was nothing. "What do you mean? Your place doesn't look too different from my own?" he questions looking at Theo as if he were waiting for some type of joke.

"it's empty. someone stole the tree and the decorations."

theo's not one to celebrate christmas either. but this year's different. he's feeling more festive, less dead inside.

he pulls out a small plastic bag.

"left behind their cigarette. was hoping you'd have a pokemon that could help track their scent."

”Really?” ‘Ashton questions as he looks to the other confused. ”Didn’t really peg you as the type to celebrate the holiday,” it wasn’t very common among those he knew in the past to celebrate at least. Though that could also be part of the sheltering his parents did to keep him and his brother from people who would influence them in ways they didn’t want. Regardless he calls out his Rockruff from last time snapping twice so that the pup wouldn’t growl at Theo. Razz takes the bag and has his Rockruff sniff it. [break][break]

”Know anyone who would do this against you personally?”

"i usually don't. thought it'd be a nice change this year until this happened."

it could still be nice once everything's been returned. until then, however, it's fair for him to remain somewhat grumpy.

”Sucks to be you don’ it?” Ashton jokes as he watches his Rockruff sniff around when Theo mentions having enemies. Honestly there was no surprise there. While Razz knows some people of Sootopolis wanted this, not everyone did. And rather just stuck around because this was their home, and they weren’t willing to abandon it. [break][break]

The pup gives a bark as it finally catches a more foreign scent that it wasn’t also picking up around the apartment and barks at the two of them. ”Now he has,” he replies as the Rockruff scratches at the door to go outside and Ashton takes chase as he expects Theo to keep up.

but the days spent longing for a different life are way behind him. he's content with what he has now.

Thankfully the task didn't take long. Turns out a couple of sneasel and murkrow had given into their shiny needs, but thankfully they didn't stand much chance against the two of them. Razz carefully dumps a box of things into the living room as he scratches the ears of both his Zorua and Rockruff to let them know they've been doing a good job. [break][break]

"That was simple, this really what ya called me for? Aren't ya a big bad Rocket man?" he teases as he still plays with his pokemon. Even gives his Zorua a berry to keep her energy up to keep his disguise up.

Thinking back to old missions, especially the one in where they were suppose to collect a debt, yeah he could see that. 'Ashton' looks at the tree up and down and then the decorations the other had. He just leans in slightly. [break][break]

"Bruh," god he hates this choice of speaking, "Ah don't even celebrate, but hey maybe a tree is enough, shows yer tryin'?"

still, the tree feels too bare as it is right now. he hums, then pushes over a cardboard box.

"i bought this at a yard sale a few months ago."

he flips it open to reveal different decorations and ornaments.

"want to help me decorate?"

"Isn't it cheaper to just get it during this time of year from the store?" he can't help but question because why go to a yard sale. Though he does inspect the box to see what was in there. Giving a little hum of curiosity as he thinks he's seen enough TV thanks to Salem and Whis to have an idea. [break][break]

"I guess I could help sure, but why?" Ashton will look over to the other, "This seems to be a more personal thing and we've only met like 2 months ago?"

Razz picks out lights from the box, his old days as the cleaner of the labs coming in handy as unraveling and untangling was almost second nature to him as he handed one part to his Rockruff to pull away to help him lay it straight. [break][break]

"Really? In a criminal organization? Get out," he remarks sarcastically the one good thing about this persona he picked up. "Seems like that would be the norm right?" he knows it was the normal in the past at least.
