klaus anchoret makes for rather amusing company, although perhaps not intentionally.

That’s the thought that crosses Mars’ mind as he watches the lighthouse keeper deal with the swimming Aurorus, a single eyebrow being raised when seeing the Lapras almost jump to BODY SLAM the dinosaur. Thankfully, Klaus seems capable enough when it comes to controlling his own pokémon, or that could have been rather disastrous for all of them.

At the mention of stopping by the lighthouse, Mars looks at him, wondering exactly what prompted it. Still, he smiles, because if anything, it could be interesting and probably helpful given the work Klaus does for Team Rocket.

"Bastard," Klaus accuses his Lapras under his breath, though he nonetheless gives the pokemon in question a light pat upon the neck. He then quirks a half-smile as to his Skrelp, the young man nodding in agreement as he supplies, "She's prettier than she is nice."

His nose wrinkles playfully at the offended Skrelp who surfaces right beside the Lapras, the pokeball in her muzzle is spit with perhaps a bit too much force at Klaus; thankfully, Klaus seems prepared for this minor tantrum and manage to catch the projectile in his right hand.

With a shrug as to loneliness, Klaus answers with indifference, "Usually, but I like the quiet." A splash upon the water causes Klaus to look over at a surfaced Goldeen, his hands moving to sign to his Skrelp, Smokescreen and Water Pulse. Klaus continues as if nothing had happened, "Some of the more remote lighthouses require three on, one off rotating keepers that I sometimes help with. They also like two of us out in the winter but Lilycove is usually operated with just one."

Klaus's hand goes to his belt from which he pulls out a pokeball to throw at the Goldeen, and then continues, "Let me give you my number and you can tell me the best time for you, yeah?"

Mars could never relate, but if only for a second, klaus anchoret reminds him of Izydor Baranowski and the similar discussion they had had up in the heights of Mt. Pyre. What’s with all these kids who like being lonely? Maybe they should meet and hangout so they don’t get so depressed…

”Actually, that would be great.” Mars smiles when the lighthouse keeper offers to give him his number, mind full of thoughts of Rocket’s smuggling routes and klaus anchoret’ own work for them. Familiarising oneself with such things first hand instead of just looking at routes in maps is always beneficial, and with that in mind…

”I’d love to visit the lighthouse sometime, I–... Wait… What is that?...”
[break][break]
It’s his Vaporeon that calls to his attention, making a sound all too similar to a light bark as it looks down towards the waters beneath, and when Mars follows its line of sight, he finds himself looking at something almost as strange as the swimming Aurorus they had encountered a moment ago.

He could easily send Vaporeon or Milotic to investigate, but instead, Mars stands – reaching for the back of his shirt’s collar and pulling it off in one swift motion before shoes are also kicked off. He flashes Klaus one last all too confident and all too perfect smile, and then, he dives.

Swimming down towards the nearby seafloor, his Vaporeon is quick to join him, approaching the Nosepass that somehow seems to have made its way down here.
[break][break]
Mars signals then, and it’s Triton’s CHARM that keeps the Nosepass calm and complacent enough to be caught in the Luxury Ball the admin presses against its rock-like body.

Klaus gives a nod of affirmation as to Mars visiting the lighthouse, his attention clearly drifting for a moment as he runs through a list of tasks he'll need to complete on the property before giving a tour. A confused, if interested "Hmm?" rumbles from the young man's chest at his superior's question, his magenta-pink gaze sliding sidelong.

"I'm not sure," Klaus begins before his words catch in his throat in surprise; in a fluid motion Mars has stripped his shirt and shoes and is in the water. A bewildered little "Ah?" sounds from the young man as he observes the unfolding scene, the Vaporeon swiftly darting down below.

Well, that was certainly something wasn't it?
[break][break]
Admiring the view as subtly as he can, Klaus eventually looks away at the sound of a splash which reveals itself to be an Inteleon. "Why not," Klaus muses to himself before directing his Skrelp with, "Double Team, and then Dragon Pulse." Observing the skirmish only half-heartedly, his gaze occasionally flicking in the direction of the ocean where Mars is diving.

It's not long before his own pokeball is thrown at the Inteleon and Klaus collects it via his Skrelp. His lips pursed for a moment, he then taps his Lapras to angle over to one of the nearby outcroppings - where the Seel had been digging - and finally completes his intended task for the trip. Kicking through the sand until the edge of an aged munitions box is revealed, Klaus retrieves the small bag from within.

Giving an absent wave to Mars, Klaus hops back onto his Lapras and the pair cuts back towards Lilycove.
