A smoky bar in a backwater town near the assend of Hoenn. The kind of place where you'd get stabbed just looking at someone funny. The B.O. from all of the slovenly knuckle-draggers was practically palpable as soon as you stepped in the door. In short, not Barnaby's usual hangout.

But his options were basically zero. He'd finished his assignment in Dewford and was scheduled to ship out the following morning. What else was there to do in a town like this for someone looking to pass the time?

Currently, Barnaby was seated alone at the bar, nursing a whisky neat with a pensive expression on his face. Gabrielle, his PERSIAN, was curled around the base of his stool - a little added protection in case anything went sideways with the bar's patrons.
