After the events of the tree things have been bugging him. Having been a long believer of pokemon are merrily tools, not that was going to change, within the tree there was a clear bond between pokemon and human that he wanted solve. What it was he couldn't really put his head around it, especially seeing as getting several of these Riolu to evolve was still beyond him.[break][break]

It was why he was bringing subjects of his own who could possibly help him. [break][break]

Like Cillian Quinn before him Pryde has invited others. Though most the others he didn't fully know or trust. So rather than the training grounds he invites Tempest Quinn to the labs because not only does he have more of his worker pokemon out. But labtechs that could take care of things seeing as the head scientist still only had one arm for use.

The Labs? Temp was always happy to help out down there! Usually it just amounted to him annoying poor Lulu Flint with his overeager nature. But, today Raphael Pryde had invited him! Temp tried to recall if he had ever met the guy, or if Cillian Quinn had ever mentioned him, but he was drawing a blank. Even if his name had come up in some casual conversation before Temp hadn't committed it to memory.

When he finds the guy, he has his own Riolu, his Umbreon, and the infant Shinx with him. The Shinx is asleep in his arms, still young. Skipper is by his side and seems eager to explore but apprehensive, the Riolu sticking close. Finally, Lil Lulu, the Umbreon, swishes her tail in annoyance but walks in front of Temp as if leading him.

"Hey, dude!" A quick wave to the other. "Gavvie told me you needed some help with something?"

And just like that already Pryde didn't care for the man child in front of him. However it was Cillian Quinn that recommended the man so he was willing to put him to use for now. "It's Pryde," he corrects, the look on his face clear that he doesn't care for the other's use of 'dude.' "And to put it simply Rararie," because he of course he looked the man up for his actual name, "I'm looking for people to study their bonds with pokemon, that or at least loan them a pokemon to evolve for me as I can't be bothered."[break][break]

"Think you can help with that? I plan to compensate those that can evolve what I need."

Temp's face twitches as he tries to keep from smiling even wider than he already was.

"Just call me 'Temp', dude." A small laugh leaves him. Temp wasn't always a little shit but he was determined when he wanted to be. This Raphael Pryde guy seemed to have a stick up his but that Temp was determined to dislodge.

"Loan them for...? How would that help anything?" He gave his Shinx a little pat before leaning over and scooping his Riolu into his arm. The pup responded by yipping before he tried to lick Temp's face. This was met with another laugh. "I could tell you how it feels to drown all day, dude! But you won't actually know what it feels like till, like, you feel it yourself! This is kind of the same thing, I think."

At the display of affection that Temp showed his pokemon Pryde showed nothing. Though one of the Riolu he owned seemed to huff at it before it continued it's work for helping putting things away in the lab. "It would help because if my theory is correct seeing the bonds between different people with the same pokemon would be interesting, besides its not like this thing is the only one I have," he gestures over toward one of the Riolu who seems to give both trainers a glare. Subject H always had problems. [break][break]

"So will you help?"

"I'll help!" Spoil sport! Temp would wear Raphael Pryde down one way or another. Soon they would be the best of friends. A foot and a fungus, working together in harmony. He shifts his arms to hold up Skipper as if Pryde hadn't seen him before. The Riolu coos and makes grabby hands for the man; he doesn't know an enemy, having been spoiled since hatching.

"I have my own Riolu, though! And I still think it's important for you to bond with it on your own." He nods at the other Riolu, giving it a grin.

"Skipper is a good fit for me! Have you get Niamh? She belongs to Cillian Quinn. She's the perfect fit for him." Gavin's Lucario and his own Skipper had hatched around the same time, so he expected Skipper to evolve soon. "I'm sure your Riolu is the perfect fit for you, you just haven't given her a chance!" He would stand firm by this.

Pryde shows nothing as the Riolu is shown to him. Seeing how much his collection has grown for this project of his seeing another one wasn't much. Though this one looked like it hadn't seen battle a day in it's life. Nothing but set for failure in his opinion. However it wouldn't be any skin off his back if the Subject H's skills faltered while staying with the man. It wasn't their fighting skills he was measuring entirely. [break][break]

"Pokemon either get the job done or they're useless, I find your 'good fit' theory to be nonsense, but on the off chance that you're correct I have at least 7 others," he comments on the ridiculousness of such a notion of 'finding your chosen partner.' Idiotic. [break][break]

"Subject H come," he orders and the Riolu does as told with a glare at both of them. All while Pryde offers a pokeball, "I have a collar to help keep him in line if needed as he seems to have some trust issues"
