DRAGON CLAWS sink deeper into his flesh. his hand snaps up to claw at scales but it's of no use. blood begins to pool beneath him.[break][break]

then comes the knife.[break][break]

"FUCK YOU!"[break][break]

he grunts, yells, and finally, almost desperately, his ankle slams into the ground, cracking open the pokeball to reveal his charizard.[break][break]

"GET THIS FUCKER OFF!"[break][break]

tendrils of energy whip around charizard, engulfing it in a MEGA EVOLUTION that summons a DROUGHT. flames pour out from charizard's maws but it's a DRAGON PULSE that is sent eris' way.

As the Charizard is released, Eris is forced to tumble off her Salamence's back, wincing as the dragon cries out in pain. And yet, he will not falter, only pushing further down on Matias as he swings his tail at the Charizard. Mercury seems to chirp in panic at the sudden change in weather, doubling down on Virizion as he starts to seems to absorb some of blood flowing from her wounds. The wire bindings grow tighter, shortening as he begins to pull away, cutting into every inch of skin he can reach...

He has to do something here, whilst Mitts is busy ragdolling the Cloyster with relentless waves of electricity, whilst Virizion remains unmoving. He breathes, he reaches and he grows, absorbing more and more from the earth and his foes. Larger and larger, metal drips from an extended arm, forming a curtain that just about shields Eris and absorbs the oncoming heat. Then, with a low guttural roar, he swings the arm right for the Charizard, the heated metal splattering and plastering over any inch of dragon it can possibly reach.

the knife twists, drawing out harsh, guttural sounds once thought to have been left in kanto. pain alleviates momentarily as eris is forced off the salamence's back — not much, but enough for him to properly squirm under the dragon's heavy foot.[break][break]

charizard, though distracted by the salamence, understands the direness of the situation; especially so after the guttural roar draws its attention. melmetal's heavy arm smacks into a SUBSTITUTE, leaving the real charizard unharmed as it tries to shove salamence off its trainer.[break][break]

"YOU LITTLE SHIT, ERIS—"[break][break]

he cuts himself short, biting down on his tongue because the situation becomes clear to him. he sees clarity, despite the almost overpowering urge to further escalate the situation.[break][break]

they need to leave. if they don't, eris will die.[break][break]

"VIRIZION!"[break][break]

a shield of PROTECT pulses, covering the legendary entirely as she zooms over matias' way.

But there's no stopping the wave of retaliation that seeks to crash down upon them, the Salamence shoved out of the way and leaving Matias just enough space to escape.

Mercury roars, swinging his arms right at Virizion as Mitts works to rush at Matias from behind. Her claws seek to rake down his spine one final time, coated in electricity and poised to burn with just a single touch. With the greater movements and rushing of winds, Eris struggles to get to her feet, a hand clutching at her left eye as she tugs at her pockets.

"YOU'RE NO BETTER THAN ANY OF THEM!"

The knives are pulled and she does her best to throw it at him.

But all they do is dig into the ground, far from their target that seeks to get away.

zeraora's claws rake down matias' back, parallel against the curve of his spine. once again, he falls to the ground, and though adrenaline pumps through his body, he can feel his vision starting to give.[break][break]

but he's away — safe atop virizion's back as blood taints her beautiful coat.[break][break]

his other two pokemon struggle but they've learned how to fight without needing commands. a raging INFERNO sweeps across the scene, covering their retreat.[break][break]

Maybe she should have disappeared with the rising of sea foam, blissfully clinging onto fairytales that she now knew could never come true. What a blessing it would have been to remain the way she'd always been, untouched by the filth of conflict and strife.

"COME BACK HERE!" She screams, nails digging into the earth and splinters sinking into her fingers as she scrambles to her feet.

Through the growing flames, over ashen roots and under falling leaves. Peeled bark and broken twigs scratch at her, the wind tugging through her hair with a searing heat. A golden serpant wraps itself around the forest and slithers upon every branch, hissing at her, mocking her for just how far they're getting away from her. But her ankles give way, her body feels so sluggish as her knees drop to the ground. Jagged stones cut in like ravenous fangs, siphoning blood as the soil beneath her is dyed with a damned rust.

Screaming ever louder, screaming as if someone might just hear her. And yet, to fall in a forest where no one else is around, no one will ever hear her crash or even make a sound.

Picked her up, gave her hope and then promptly ripped out all her parts.

"You know what you did!"

Her voice cracks as the smoke begins to choke her, relentless coughs sending large shudders through her body. Her vision's growing dark, every attempt to stand back up only leads to her falling back down. The pain grows when not suppressed by the adrenaline, tears rolling down her cheeks as she screams and slams her fist against the ground. Why can't the world be fair? Why does she keep losing the people that she cares for the most?

YOUR HARVEST COMES QUICKER THAN EXPECTED. A Gracidea Flower, fully grown, awaits you. This treasured hibiscus almost glows in the sunlight. Kind in its hues and welcoming in its shape, you move toward this goddess of the grove.

Upon touching the plant, the nearby area bursts into blooms of various flowers. The earth seems to shift underneath your feet, but there is no violent eruption. Just a gentle displacement.
