Bryan was tasked with doing what he did best, but this time he wanted to test some things out. He wanted to see how calling upon xerneas would respond to bryan asking for help. He seemed to agree to it pretty easily, seemingly indifferent at the moment to this world at the moment as he did not see it as his own...where did he come from? [break][break]

Well regardless it didn't really matter as long as he was willing to cooperate with Bryan wore his mask, not really knowing if there was a point to it anymore or not and well. He balled his fist and..[break][break]

CRASH [break][break]

Concrete met his fist and his super strength took over, allowing him to break it with ease and gain access to the building. An alarm began to blare throughout the building warning staff inside of an intruder. He grinned underneath his mask "This is something I could get used to." as a devilish grin spread across his lips. He rushed into the building searching for a specific laboratory rocket tasked him with raiding.

It had been a long day.[break][break]

Cup after cup of coffee and nothing of value to eat, little sleep the previous night and assumedly little sleep again tonight. Work was busy as per usual, and he'd been working on this - admittedly small and not of much use in a broad sense - research for long enough that everything in the microscopes started to look exactly the same to him. Ugh. Headache. Sleepy. Bleh.[break][break]

Was it important to learn about shiny legendaries? Was it life-changing to discover that pokemon like Moltres, Lugia, Kyogre, could possess the same special genes that changed their colours as any other pokémon? To Cefin, it was insanely important, but to the wider world... eh. Probably not high on the to-do list. At least not as far as he knew.[break][break]

As he pulls one slide from the microscope and places another in, there's an air of silence. Calm before the storm. Then, as if a thousand things happened at once, a crash, a scattering of brick and wall, and then the blaring of the alarm.[break][break]

With Sweetgum lazily just-keeping-up behind him, Cefin peeks his head out into the corridor where the sound was painfully close. A figure turns the corner, and acting forever oblivious of his own self-interest, Cefin takes a step out, hands raised.[break][break]

"Please- um - sir? We're just scientists here, we're not causing any trouble" He says, in his best attempt to stay calm. It wouldn't do well to let emotions get the better of him and make some mistake that may well cost him his research. Oh, uh, his life too, that too.

The chaos around him was contrasted by his own calm demeanor as it seemed like he didn't have a worry in the world. He barely even noticed that someone was talking to him until Cefin Glynn fell into his line of sight. [break][break]

He told bryan that he wasn't causing any trouble and just doing his job to which he replied "And what if my job is to cause trouble?" he said raising an eyebrow beneath his mask. He pulled out a pokeball ready to go in case this peaceful scientist took a sudden turn, he knew better than most of the demons that could lay beneath the surface of one's demeanor.

The calmness of the assailant was mirrored in Cefin's own demeanour, too. If his sister knew he was here standing up to some dangerous criminal without a care for his own safety, she would surely give him a good talking to, and the same would be easily said of Ceri Glynn, but Cefin could never just panic and hide in a situation like this. Far too good for his own safety.[break][break]

The masked man in front of him pulled out a pokeball, and Cefin tensed a little. "...What do you want? I don't think simply causing trouble seems very productive, right? If you need something specific..." He thinks for a moment, looks back to the lab he poked his head out of.[break][break]

What on earth could they be researching here that would be worthy of target? Cefin's own work was on shiny pokémon - valuable, sure, but was it really worth this kind of trouble?[break][break]

"...I can answer questions, just please don't break anything or hurt the other scientists"[break][break]

If things really went south, he had Sweetgum in the lab just behind him.

He pretended to contemplate it for a little bit, his job was to purely cause chaos. He was to either steal the research going on in the lab...or to stop the league from having it themselves. He grinned as he decided to reply "I dont need to be productive. I just need to make sure your lot cant be." he explains. [break][break]

There was wildlife slowly creeping in behind bryan, he threw a pokeball outside as this pokemon was a little too tall for the building. "You know what to do! BLACK BRIAR!" he shouts as a blinding light radiated and xerneas made his appearance. Z-energy swirled around the two coating their bodies as a tree of life sprouted outside the laboratory and Briar rose thorns grew over the building trapping everyone inside of it. [break][break]

The building shook as the concrete cracked in agony, moaning and groaning alongside the pipes inside the building that bursted leaking water all over the place as Bryan decided to punch the floor too to cause more damage. "What are you gonna do about it?" he said taunting Cefin Glynn .

Water starts spewing in from burst pipes, pooling around their feet. What was he going to do about this?![break][break]

Cefin grips a pokéball at his waist and clicks the release button. Instead of something big and powerful, Watercress the Poliwag lands on the floor. Wordlessly he starts to Water Absorb, preventing too much of the flooding from getting past it's soggy little body.[break][break]

"I don't want to have to fight you" Cefin warns, a little shakily. It's true, though, he really doesn't. His words don't come from some cool-action-movie-hero-esque I don't wanna fuck you up thing - he just really didn't enjoy fighting, or even battling most of the time.[break][break]

As if silently called, Sweetgum the Tangrowth squeezes through the lab door and stands behind his trainer, his huge vined body towering over the dainty little scientist in front of him. The building groaned in pain at the thick thorns that were, frankly, probably the only thing still holding it up. "This is... one last warning. Please. Just take whatever you want and go"
