Andrea pouted and inflated her cheeks, doing her best impression of an annoyed Qwilfish. "Firstly, I'm eighteen! Secondly, I'm not dressed like a Tyrantrum! I'm dressed like an unnamed, yet to be discovered Dragon Pokémon! And thirdly... I can't take off my suit, because then I'll be naked!" She retorted, squinting her eyes at the man. "Are you asking me to undress for you? I get it now... You must be a pervert!"

If the girl's adorable display of anger wasn't enough to intimidate the dark-haired youth, the glare that could make Hell freeze over courtesy of her Kangaskhan definitely would. It was a glare that made it crystal clear that if Rally didn't behave, he was gonna get Dizzy Punched too.

"Trust me, no one wants to see you naked. Ever. Y'know, maybe you should stop acting like a kid. Grow up and stop being such a crayon-eater. You think anyone's going to take you seriously, dressed up like your furry OC?"

By Arceus, this girl was annoying. The the stare from her weird Pokemon was unnerving. Rally was sure that if the girl threw a tantrum, she'd have her pet start attacking him. She clearly wasn't mature.

Luckily, they were less than ten minutes away from the house. Hopefully he'd be able to reach the couple in one piece.

"Why are you even here, anyway? Don't you have some anime to watch at home?"

The young woman pursed her lips following Rally's outburst. One would expect an over-the-top reaction, like wailing and crying her eyes out, but instead she fell silent, hanging her head down while her hood cast a shadowy veil over her visage. His harsh words had evidently hurt her on a deeper than superficial level.

Missy was about to lash out at the youth for insulting her trainer, but Andrea's voice stopped her. "I'm done talking to you. After we deliver those eggs I'll leave you alone." She curtly said, her tone cold, devoid of her usual mirth.

And she actually stayed true to her word, saying nothing for the remainder of their trip.

And the girl was quiet. Rally waited a moment, expecting her to make some bratty comment or throw a tantrum. But to his surprise, he only got silence in return.

Rally wasn't the consoling type. Frankly, he didn't even want to; all he did was tell her the truth. If it wasn't him, it would have been someone else later down the line. She needed to know the truth, and it was best that she learn it now.

The walk lasted a long, awkward, and very silent seven minutes. But finally, they reached a sole house a few blocks before Fortree. Rally walked up to the door and knocked. He and Andrea were greeted by a middle-aged woman.

"Egg delivery," Rally told her. Then he looked to Andrea. "Get your Dragonite down."

The young PokéManiac put her thumb and index finger in her mouth, whistling loudly. Soon, Huggles descended from the clouds, landing before their client and carefully setting the two egg incubators on the ground.

Missy's baby climbed off her pouch and sheepishly approached one of the incubators, curiously tapping the case with its small hand.

Andrea crouched next to the baby Kangaskhan, patting the top of the case as well. "Be good to your new family, okay? You're gonna hatch into a big and strong Pokémon, I'm sure of it!" She said, a sunny smile returning to her face. "And make sure to follow your dreams... no matter what other people say."

This was the kind of person she was at her core: Someone who found joy in the smallest of things, someone who maintained a positive outlook even when faced with harsh realities. No amount of scorn or rejection could take that away from her.

Once Andrea was done, Rally patted the same egg. He also had some words for it. "Grow up to be nice and strong. Don't stay a child forever, or you'll annoy people and everyone will laugh at you."

And that was it. The woman graciously accepted the eggs, thanked the trainers, and gave them their pay before closing the door. As for Rally, he scooped up his unconscious Pokemon, nodded toward Andrea and her Pokemon, and walked away. Hopefully, he thought, they'd never run into each other again.
